Where oh where is the new music? I'm still not convinced we'll see the "new" record in 2017.

Everyday I google FM news about the album. Several sites have stated that FM is one of several acts who will release a much-anticipated album this year. But none of these sites cite the band directly for confirmation. All the information, when any is provided, stems from older interviews.

I'm really fed up. Again. I go through cycles of hope and frustration and anger. This is really bull****. We fans deserve a fresh status update. And we deserve an honest, realistic release date.

Let's hope. I have this nagging feeling that the new material was put on a shelf 2 years ago and has not been touched since. I'd be gleeful if I were proven wrong, though.

I have that feeling, too. The "profound new chapter" is a blank page.

Well 2017 was the year of the BuckVie album release, it’s the thing that came closest to Fleetwood Mac that year but sadly it wasn't Fleetwood Mac perse. Can't remember any important thing directly related to Fleetwood Mac that we can call very important or special in 2007, though Lindsey and Stevie were on tour that year.

Don’t have to be a fortune-teller to know that years ending in 7 are used to capitalize on the Rumours phenomenon. And chances are the Apple TV+ documentary will be released next year. Beyond that, probably the 4754th release of Rumours.

As a fan of unknown old material, I'd love to get still undiscovered early/alternative/demo versions of 1987 songs. Like Everywhere or Big Love. The Tango Deluxe was disappointing in that regard.

Or a release of a 1997 concert with songs not included in The Dance, like Second Hand News, Farmer's Daughter, Not That Funny (I’m one of the few people who actually likes this song, but only live), and I’m not sure, but I think I read that Hold Me was played at one or two shows that year. Can someone confirm this?

1974 L&S joined the band.
2004 Live in Boston was released and the Stand Back intro became my favorite .
2014 Christine McVie officially rejoined Fleetwood Mac after 16 years of semi-retirement.

No Hold Me. It was played on the short 1982 tour and Fleetwood Mac didn’t resurrect it until the 2018 tour. Chris played it on her solo tour in 1984 and her and Lindsey played it in 2017.
