I’ve seen several photos where Stevie and John are sharing kind gestures with each other. Even in later years. In the OWTS tour poster she has her hand on her shoulder. In The Dance The Chain after the …never break the chain at ~2:00 she does the No sign with her finger, smiling, I can’t be sure but it seems she is looking at John.

And of course there are also pictures like that from the crazy 70s. And stories. Mick even mentioned one of those crazy things they used to do, like the time when Robin brought her brownies to the (Sausalito) studio.

Be careful, she said, these things are really strong. But the band ignored the advertised potency and gobbled freely. We spent the night in such a bent condition that not a note was played and the engineers went home. John and Stevie spent hours huddled in a corner, giggling like mad over a copy of Playboy.

Didn't Don Henley say this is how she greeted the Eagles when they walked into the room?

A lot when if not the photo shoot..?

I think they were just playing. they were kinda drunk and bored to tears and just fooling around. But there's a spot in that photo shoot where she was trying to pull down the zipper of his sweatjacket and he took her hand and sort of flung it off, looking disgusted. another spot where she kept running off and chris grabbed her and was telling her prob to look at the f*cking camera, stay in the shot etc, and john was reaching his hands in front of mick like he was going to strangle stevie. he was not amused lol.

chris was hanging all over lindsey for part of the photo shoot , too... i think they all were just touchy feely familiar w each other in those shoots. also didn't the photographer make a comment about how when the band members started touching each other, the shots would get incredible? how there was an energy to it? i can't recall the exact words but maybe he was even *telling* them to touch each other.

imo anytime you have a band with men and women there will be some level of flirtation esp w drugs and alcohol.

also fwiw-- i used to email Ed roach waaay back in the day, and he said it was J&C who still spent TONS of time together in the tusk days, that he was always around her house, even w dennis around... that they were "like two crazy kids." and another person who worked w the band who said, and I quote, 'You could not work with Christine in any capacity without John being part of the proceedings.'

so yeah... i don't think john and stevie were up to anything besides bored flirting lol

Did not Prince's assistant say the same thing she was pulling her dress up while trying to dance with Prince. Prince told his assistant to keep Stevie away from him.

It seems Scooter was the first to make it, but not the first to audition for a cover.

I love the pictures from the Rumours 35th anniversary release. Does anybody whose house is (or what for) the one that appears with the number 6310?

Another gesture from John—one of those where you wonder what was being said.

Stevie's mom momentarily thought John was Lindsey.

Let's rip off Dunstan's Facebook today. Though he actually reposted the picture, what caught my attention was that he said he was staying at Chris's house during the Wilson days:

Sadly I was witness to most of the situation as i was living at Chris’s house.. so sad for Chris and tragic for Dennis.! So much talent but indded a wild boy.!!

yeah i think he lived there w her for a couple of years. dennis also had his son scott staying there, too. def wild days. and before that i think she had curry living there sort of part time, and before that it was sandra for a bit... Chris never seemed to like living alone. heard that was really hard for her in those Kent years.

Much like the women in my family, Christine didn't seem to like "nice guys", who have their sh1t together. They like the bad boys, and always pay the price for it.

Anyone who has me a 50k garden built for me, then has the bill sent to me, IS GOING HOME IN A BODY BAG.
