Sitting by the water at a restaurant in Maryland enjoying the sunshine and the band plays an amazing version of The Chain.

Since it was a 70s to 90s radio station, the unexpected thing was that I didn't heard Dreams. That was pretty weird. But GOD, I've already told you I love Hotel California but they played that song several times every day! I couldn't stand it anymore and I was on the verge of turning on the Bat-Signal so he’d come rescue me!
Just heard Dreams driving along SH 289 in Frisco. What was not unexpected, is that the previous song was (drum roll effect)... Hotel California.

This weeks episode featured Edge of Seventeen. It was played in its entirety and even repeated a couple of the versus and played again at the end of show credits.

Just watched S9.E7 of 9-1-1. A couple made a picnic in Griffith Park, first date so they started to know each other and mentioned Fleetwood Mac and Rumours.

At my biker bar, and the bartender has old videos on the TV. Hold Me comes on, and some old drunk says(when Christine is on screen), "God damn, is that Stevie Nicks?" I sat the whole bar straight, and told them that the band wasn't getting along when this video was shot, and that's why they're usually in individual shots.

I may have just gotten my man card revoked.....

Bottom line is you set that bar group straight. We need to educate folks on the MAC whenever possible.😎

They were like, "HOW do you know they weren't getting along during this video shoot?" I just told them that I'm a dork.

Dear god....I guess I am.

I've told this story here before but many years ago when I first moved to Florida in the early 1990s I sometimes would stop by this strip club in Ft Lauderdale before hitting the night clubs. This club was so raunchy that it was the kind of place you were afraid to go to the bathroom because a drug deal was going down, someone was engaging in sex, and feces would be splattered all over the toilet. But they had a good show They had a juke box that had the CD Fleetwood Mac's Greatest Hits. I played No Questions Asked and it was so loud in the bar/club. I cannot tell you how many people went over to the Juke Box to investigate "what song was this?" They knew it was Stevie yet never heard it before. It was crazy because I lost count how many people were curious what song it was.

Years ago at a party with friends from work, they played Black Magic Woman and I asked them Do you know that's a cover? Do you know who play the original version? Nobody knew and they were surprised (some even skeptic) it was Fleetwood Mac, then I explained the Mac is not only the Rumours lineup.

An "oppositte to the usual" unexpected situation. Sometimes since I don't know a word meaning I use the Google translator, but I translate the whole sentence to be sure the word got the right context. I did it this week and can't remember what sentence was, but it mentioned Stevie with no last name. The spanish translated sentence wrote Stevie's last name... Wonder.

Should we sue Google?

I've done that a million times. 19 out of 20 people have no idea that it's not a Santana song.

Question: Stevie said on the stage in 2018 that she never knew Fleetwood Mac did Black Magic Woman. I thought she bought ALL of the Fleetwood Mac albums and played them back to front.

On another note heard Hypnotized on Classic Vinyl driving back from the gym this morning.

That's true, and SHE made the decision and basically said (to Lindsey), I think we can add something to this band.

She never lies. So... I guess she bought ALL Clifford Davis's fake Fleetwood Mac band albums.

Lindsey was lucky to have her make those decisions. Its scary what his career might have been without her making those decisions.
Her most important job was making Hamburger Helper last longer especially since Lindsey put the electric skillet on the stove and ruined the electric skillet and the Hamburger Helper.

And also she tried to make it *different*, as she said.

It's a good thing it was so cheap at the time. if she tried to live on hamburger helper now, they'd be in the poorhouse.

But yes, it's good she 'told' him they'd be joining. i could see LB being a stubborn hold out.
