Default New teaser video

I’m surprised no one here has mentioned the new video Lindsey had posted on social media- he’s playing Rhiannon with the caption “coming soon” or words to that effect. There’s also a woman’s voice which can be heard in the background that people in the comments say sounds like Stevie. While I don’t believe it is Stevie’s voice, the video seems to suggest something is coming… but what? And why would Lindsey be playing Rhiannon, of all songs, to announce a new project? I’m thinking it has something to do with the new documentary coming out soon, but again, why Rhiannon?

Anybody seen this?

I did see it, and my first impression after hearing Rhiannon's guitar and reading "Coming soon..." is that he is playing with fan expectations (rejoin, new album, etc.) Of course, that doesn't work on me; I have no interest in seeing them together and reading endless "working in new album..." just bores me.

He’s doing a series of guitar tutorial videos. I think he chose Rhiannon because it’s a popular song.

Can I ask a question, and this comes with no malice.

You write at the beginning of the year about how we haven't heard anything from Lindsey for months, you complain about how the snippet videos are old, disinteresting, boring... and whatever else your issues seem to be.

Now, Lindsey, using the EXACT SAME social media roll out his team have been deploying for the last 4 years, and "it doesn't work on me" and "bores" you.

2026 was always the time frame. New album, documentary, possible memoir and yes, most likely some form of reunion with Stevie and Mick. It won't be under the banner of FM but something is in the works, hence the use of Rhiannon.

Aside from quoting a factually inaccurate book from 1990, what exactly are you hoping to get out of these 76 year old musicians.

And while I'm ranting, if/when we do get something exciting out of our favourite group of musicians, can we actually be a fanbase that is proud and excited that they are still creating art. And not, predictably **** on it.

"The old hag ruined the band of my life"
"Lindsey has lost his balls"

You know exactly what I'm talking about.

You know, a stiff cocktail can work wonders on a bad mood.

I see your point. First of all, my concern about his media silence during the first months of 2026 was mostly about his health, and I wrote as much. I always wish good health to all Fleetwood Mac people.
But I don't recall reading that premise that 2026 was "always the timeframe"; I just haven't seen that information. In my opinion, he's been announcing a new album since... 2023? I think so because I just find threads in tthis forum asking about it, so I think several Ledgies haven't realized or didn't read that 2026 was always the timeframe, if that was the case.

I do like Lindsey recent posts/videos with his family, I enjoy them, but my point about being boring was just about those "coming soon" and other phrases about something new is coming (I include the innuendos of some work with Stevie). The Ledgies have been asking about a new Lindsey album because he (or his media team) frequently drops hints about it. But for me, after more than 2 years, it was like the kid who said, "The wolf is coming, the wolf is coming," and when the wolf came, nobody believed him anymore. That's just what bored me; I apologize if there was any misunderstanding.

What do I hope to get out of those 70+ Mac members? Very good question. Well, I think that ship has sailed. I believe the Fleetwood Mac time has passed. I'll always remember October 11, 2014, the last time I saw them. That to me was the swan song, because the group disappeared in 2018, mainly because of Stevie. Now, if Stevie goes on tour again, or if Lindsey, Stevie, or even Mick release an album, good for them. But I've always been mainly a Mac fan. I was never a die-hard fan of any member's solo work. That doesn't mean I disliked Bella Donna, OOTC, etc. Again I'm not crazy about any new material, to be honest, but I wish them all the best anyway. So I apologize if my words were misunderstood. I clarify I didn't "predictably **** on it", not sure about the **** word, but I guess I know what or who you mean. Just in case for the record my point didn't have any negative or destructive objective.

So back to the answer, you can deduce it based on what I've already said, I expect from the members... nothing especial. But you know what I do enjoy? These threads, I like to read different point of views. I like to say I agree, and I like to share my point of view when I disagree. And if I read something I didn't know or someone shares points I hadn't noticed, I'm open to correcting myself. I don't take discussions with malice. And whenever news, articles, or posts by them or about the band come out, the Ledge threads become very interesting.

Here is a fire round of questions. At the end he gives a revealing answer that something is brewing. He claims The Forum is his favorite venue to play live and it's possible to see him play there again. Hint Hint. Sheryl Crow is secretly warming up at a secret location.

On some tours they played multiple nights at The Forum. Being a California kid it is no surprise that he has a special affection for a place in his state. I suppose the only time he didn't miss playing there was in late 1987.

On monday they posted his answer about the song that changed the most from the initial idea. He talked about Big Love and the way it changed from a complete band song to the guitar version. It would have been really cool if he had played live it in the original style sometimes.
