No. It's because there have been no releases (except for the 24 Karat Gold tour thing) besides those two songs since 2014, and that during COVID she was supposedly all set to get a Rhiannon film together and nothing happened. I have learned not to believe in new albums, sorry.

That's fair.
Many rockstars or "pop"stars in their late 60s and 70s do continue to release albums of newly written music. I wish that Stevie will become one of them this year with "The Ghost Record."

And many stars just release compilation albums, too. Surely to mantain income. According to Wikipedia there were 3 compilation and 2 live albums after the 24K album.

And checking her discography in that page, I found there was a compilation Europe only release in 2000, called The Divine Stevie Nicks.

Seriously. There's no one in her lighthouse. Just a nightlight barely glowing, while she insists, "I'M STILL RELEVANT!"
ok that did make me chuckle.

Well, who could take her seriously? Or Mick? They've become doddering old fools, believing their own lies.

Actually, I think Mick knows he's lying(for the money). Stevie believes her own spewed garbage.

My MRI had an unintentionally amazing moment. The machine was making its noise in time with “Flash” by Queen. It was mind-blowing!

That said, I’m not terribly claustrophobic and had to get a large margarita around the corner after I got home.

Stand Back: 1981–2017 (2019 single-disc and three-disc box set)
Complete Studio Albums and Rarities (2023 16-disc vinyl and 10-disc CD box set)

And these lives:
Live in Concert: The 24 Karat Gold Tour. 2020

I stand corrected. And forgot about the Stand Back compilation. But I still think none of this was new.

I think there will be new Stevie music this year. Practical Magic 2 is out this year too.

Never seen that movie, but reading the box office did not reach the budget, and Rotten Tomatoes gave it 27% (though 6.4 is a decent score in IMDB), I wonder why they decided to make a sequel to a movie that wasn't very successful.

I really liked the movie… but it only appeals to a certain lifestyle / kind of person. I can see how the mainstream didn’t understand it and would rate it poorly.

Well according to Vanessa Carlton, the album IS coming out, and she's heard it: https://people.com/vanessa-carlton-a...usive-11955197

When asked if she had heard Nicks' first new album in 14 years that she's set to release, Carlton confirms she has.

"I cannot say a word more," she says. "The world should get ready. That's all I'll say. Stevie's coming. Let's put it that way."

Added Carlton: "It's Stevie, so it's glorious."

In April 2025, Nicks revealed that she was working on her 14th album, which she had referred to as "the ghost record," per fan-captured footage.

This was the "fan-captured footage" they referred to (her speech at the Pollstar Hall of Fame awards in 2025):

I love how Jimmy (who presented her with the award) ends up leaning against the wall of the set while she blathers on and on and on.....
