New Rick Vito album: Slidemaster

[Villavic]

In April 2026, Vito will release his latest solo album, Slidemaster. The album documents the 76-year-old maestro’s slide career highlights, a reminder of what he does best.

Cool interview, he talks about his career, early and recent years, and of course Fleetwood Mac.

Hmmm…an instrumental slide guitar album. Think I’ll be giving this a big pass. Ricks a lovely guy, but he was a terrible fit for Fleetwood Mac. He just wasn’t the right style for it to ever be a big success.
