Default Most handsome Country Club guitarist

I was watching the late 1983 Country Club concert performance and got to wondering whether shy and sneaky Christine made a strategic decision to put three handsome guitarists center stage all to deflect sufficient attention from her to feel more comfortable as a solo artist.

If she was trying to distract the audience a little, which guitarist do you think was most distracting???

Todd was really cute to me when I saw this show. He was even hotter live when I saw them in Cleveland.

And Todd looks the best for his age now, too. Billy's looking pretty rough these days.

I don't know if distracting, but answering the poll question, it is Todd.

It's a nice concert, I like it very much, but I admit I'm not entirely convinced by the setlist order, given that she sang eight songs from the album and then six from Fleetwood Mac. I suppose she thought it was a better idea than alternating between the two materials, or someone convinced her to do it. But I'm not sure it was the best choice.

Hard to answer as a red blooded heterosexual male.
Think I voted Todd. But Billy was a damned good looking guy back in the day. Looks especially good as the hero in the Zoo video for Angel Come Home. Don’t judge him on how he looks today. Early 80’s he was a heartthrob, I’m sure.

Yes, and don't judge his haircut based on today's styles. It was the 80s. It looked cool on him, and it wasn't as extreme as Lindsey's. But Todd was better looking. (well Lindsey is much more handsome than these three guys, but with his Tusk haircut.

As a gay man, I concur! Billy was sexy.

Speaking of this concert, I adore its performance of "So Excited", and I find it far superior to the album version because of the raucous energy level of the chorus which finally lives up to the song's title! Is rockabilly the wrong word? The high-energy country feel makes that word come to my mind.

It was actually one of my least favorite songs from the album before I saw how good it could be live. I have never liked the choice of "Love Will Show Us How" as the second single, even though I think it is a good song. Just too expected of a sound to come after "Got a Hold on Me". If the album version of "So Excited" had been as strong as this concert performance, I wonder if it could have been the second single. It is so innovative with how it transitions back and forth from slow to fast, but without being gimmicky at all. I really love it and I wonder if anyone else thinks it was taken to another level here.

^^^
One In A Million is my favorite. That organ, to that weird, funky guitar riff... it's the fukcing Sugar Daddy of that album.

I think all theee guitarists were hot in different ways… not to mention drummer Steve Ferrone. Todd had a very cute baby face, Billy had a dark and handsome look, and as for George, I believe when Christine introduced the band, she mentioned George’s sexy body or something to that effect, and I agreed with her. He had the junk in the trunk, so to speak.

Excellent concert video, although it’s too bad we can hardly see Christine’s face. The guys have better lighting than Christine here. It’s amazing to me how connected Billy was to FM- he performed with Mick Fleetwood’s Zoo, performed with Christine here, and performed with Lindsey, too. Billy also sounded so good on Who’s Dreaming This Dream here.

I've read a lot of comments about people here not liking his voice. But I love his voice! And I always thought he meshed perfectly with Christine.

The World Turning jam Todd and gang do on her solo tour might be my favorite version.

I believe it was the 3rd single that did not chart. She performed it on Solid Gold.

As far as the looks go. Everyone was very attractive then. December 1983 was right before the mid 80s hit and things got weird. Even the beautiful members of Fleetwood Mac had weird hair in the mid 80s like Lindsey and Stevie. I hated the loud mid 80s so the looks at this concert are before all the glam and neon of the next 2 years.
