If you haven’t watched the Rumours classic DVD (or have never seen it) put it on get a refresh. What a great piece of history of time. I know it was recorded around The Dance release on the 20th anniversary. Great stuff. I would have loved to have been in the studio with those guys listening to all those mixing of instruments and vocals.

Well crap, Google says Feb 2005, "although there were previous versions released". WTF? I think it's closer to The Dance, based on their looks.
I've got it, and have watched it MANY times, although it's in storage right now, so I can't check it.

I consider it a must-own for anyone who considers themselves to be a diehard Fleetwood Mac fan. The insight is amazing but hearing the musical and vocal breakdowns are excellent too. The isolated background vocals for Dreams are something that always sticks with me. It gives you a good look into how and why Rumours ended up being the phenomenon it was and still is.

It is a must own! And yes it's from 1997 (july), along with the Behind the Music Fleetwood Mac episode (sep '97). Both videos are my favorites and they are enough to know about Rumours. All subsequent documentaries repeat almost all of the same Rumours info.
I got the Classic albums VHS and when the DVD was released I got it immediately. I remember VH1 repeated the Behind the Music episode on Thanksgiving '97. Fortunately it was early afternoon and had enough time to watch it entirely, I was in NJ previous to go to the NY concert, my first time I saw Fleetwood Mac live. What a great day.

The early ‘Classic Albums’ series were great. As time wore on they started focusing on albums that are slightly less ‘classic’

In The Dance rehearsals thread I was commenting Lindsey looked a bit overweight, big-bellied. At the end of the Classic Albums video he looked that way too. But I hadn't notice that dewlap.
