I wonder what he was cleaning off his face at 0:40

They were separated and divorced. John calls her his ex-wife in the clip. They were separated since 1976 and divorced by 1977. The divorce was not final until 1978. I think it would be correct to say ex-wife.

In my early 20s, I stayed at a party until around 11am, then made the hour long trip back home. About halfway home, I looked into the rear view mirror and realized that I had two giant powdered cake doughnuts attached to the bottom of my nose! Thank god I didn't get pulled over.

well, yes they were obviously separated but legally, they were still indeed married and chris may actually still be wearing her ring on her left hand in that clip..hard to see clearly but i do think it's there. which is quite passive aggressive haha. she wore it until practically the last minute-- many shots from that time, she's got it on her left hand. (i spent my teen years looking for it lol.) here are quotes from the article where she said they hadn't divorced officially before that-- was finalized beginning of march, tho she said 'it was reported we had divorced 2 years ago.' he did call her his ex wife but i'm nitpicking in terms of legalities

“SINGER Christine McVie opened champagne when I went to her home in the Hollywood Hills on March 21, 1978... She was celebrating her divorce from bass guitarist John just three weeks before — "It was a matter of trying to be super-mature about it and we had to keep our finer feelings covered up. We never actually got around to making our divorce final until now, although it was reported we had divorced two years ago. John started going out with a girl called Julie, who used to work for our former business manager. They are getting married on April 16 (1978) and that’s why John wanted an official divorce."

think john actually got married on the 19th though.

This is from 1993. From their looks this must be previous to the Clinton inauguration. Yeah I know this may sound naive but, where is Stevie? Why wasn't she there?

pretty sure i heard/read that she wasn't feeling well...?

such an interesting press conference. lindsey was pretty tightly wound and making it clear this was just a one off. There was def some tension between him and mick because of the book. john and chris, however, were having a fun time lol

It was really shocking and sad to see Stevie in that shape right before she got off tranquilizers. I remember one comedian at the inaugural ball exclaimed "who took the air hose to Stevie Nicks" It could of been her people kept her away from the media in that shape.

His 1979 look is my favorite.

But here he wasn't at his best. This was probably from when the Tusk tour had already taken its toll.

That pic on the bottom...I didn't think there were many pics I hadn't seen before. I don't think he looks bad in it.

1987. I wonder what was each of them thinking there with their eyes closed.

Lindsey: Please, not another tour.

There used to be one of these in an antique store here in Nashville, SIGNED BY RICK AND BILLY. One of them drew glasses on Lindsey's face. It was really funny. I always wanted to buy it, but the owner wanted too much for it. I don't remember how much, but it was about $100 more than I was willing to spend. The store's been gone for several years now, so I ASSume the owner died....
