THANK YOU. I gave up on bitching about AI posts on here a few months ago, since the (geriatric) kids seem to love it so.

To me, it falls exactly in with fan fiction, and shouldn't be allowed. Not that moderation is really still a thing.... sigh. Oh well....

Well, I agree the picture is digitally modified (AI or any sw), but it's their 1997 look. They probably still enjoyed a drink from time to time, but in general they were already sober by that year.

john and chris were in no way sober at that time lol. i heard mick wasn't doing all that well with it either. at least no coke though (probably!! haha) stevie and lindsey were in the best shape for the dance.

They were all getting wasted at that time. I thought Christine looked amazing and slender. But, from what I had heard, lots of drinking and drama. Especially, as the 40 some dates came to a close.

I didn't know that. I thought she was sober since she looked so gorgeous in The Dance. I also thought she started to drink a lot again while she was alone in England in the 2000s.

Every album, they say they aren't doing drugs and alcohol. Especially, when it wasn't as accepted like it had used to be.

it was pretty bad when she left FM (even though i agree she did look gorgeous!), and then got way worse in England with all the crap with ed and then the isolation/depression.

Like jbrownsjr said, they always tried to make it sound like they were sobered up and doing great. But a lot of that was PR BS.

They were relatively "sober" compared to Tusk/Mirage/Tango.

I always got a kick out the 1977 Rock Music awards. They were so wasted but it was the 1970s so it sort of was over looked. Mick is so fidgety stroking his beard. Lindey's eyes are bugging out of his head. Stevie and Chris are feeling no pain. A reporter asks Lindsey.....how do you feel? Lindsey says "WONDERFUL" as his eyes are bugging out of his head. Chris says there are no words to describe how they feel. But then she wanders off describing how they feel in 3 words Mick is in another world. He is like a zombie and never says a word. At the very end he walks away and the video stops but you can see he was about to stagger. John has no words but Chris is having fun talking

that clip never fails to entertain lol. mick was oddly silent. john was quite happy to "let his ex-wife speak for him"... which was more BS because they were totally still married at that point.. and were quite all over each other chris looked a little lost when he walked away , she had no one to hang onto!
