I am soooooooo glad to get confirmation, too, that it IS her playing piano on “Coming Your Way,” which I’d assumed since I first heard it back in 82. The piano playing there sounds like her, not Jeremy. Many of us have been trying to nail down where she actually contributes to TPO. Some believe she contributed background vocals somewhere (where?) or that she played some piano on “Oh Well, Part 2.” I don’t hear any vocals and that sounds like another keyboardist on “Oh Well.” But “Coming Your Way” has her definite stamp.
The piano on Oh Well was Jeremy, I'm sure of that. Great to have the confirmation that Christine was the pianist on Coming your way- I had assumed this since Jeremy posted to say he had "no idea" who it was:

Yes, I played piano on Kiln House, including Wurlitzer on Tell Me all the Things You Do.
On Coming Your Way? No idea.

Interesting that she didn't care for the "a slice of classical music, something like Brahms played backwards that comes in the middle of a jam session. I didn't really see the point of that."

I had always wondered about that bit of Searching for Madge, too.

I still think there’s some Moog on “Oh Well, pt. 2” in addition to the orchestra and recorder.

The droning sound came from a cello, which was played by Green, although it's entirely possible that a Moog was layered underneath it.

One more year today and I still vividly remember when I learned about this sad new. Her music has been the greatest comfort all this time.

I remember EXACTLY where I was when I read the news. I was driving from Nashville back to Indiana, and had just crossed the Ohio River. I remember the exact spot of road where I read it.

I was in my office and my boss came in, immediately after I had found out.

I was dizzy and seriously almost fainted. I couldn't hear what he was saying.

I was sitting in my sun room and saw it on my phone. I had to check several sites to actually believe it was real. I started crying.

I'd always dreaded the day that she would pass. I've always been most attached to her and Lindsey. I'll be really sad when his time comes, too.

I dreaded the day any one of the 5 would pass. Cause that day there would be no more Fleetwood Mac. Unfortunately Stevie took care of that in 2018.

Egos that large, do as they and their mgmt. feel, without any thoughts about how it would affect the millions of others. Sounds about right in this current climate.

I remember the day l learned she died. I saw a post on this site: Christine McVie: RIP. My heart started beating and I thought “no….” Then, oddly, before I even opened the link to the post, I accepted it as true and found myself clicking on the link without feeling anything. I already knew the nightmare had become real.

Minutes later, I went to my phone and saw all kinds of texts and received phone calls from friends who know I love her. It was a way of being seen, I guess. There was some comfort in that.

Over the next several days, I felt all the emotions, including anger. She wasn’t supposed to go first. She was supposed to be the last one standing…I still can’t believe she’s gone.

Thanks for sharing that! We need to toast her in person, some day!
