You're right, it wouldn't be as good (how could it possibly be?). It would be a better final ending for the band, somehow, than the forgotten Finn/Campbell iteration charity concert at the end of the 2019 tour and the pandemic hiatus until Christine's passing.

I wouldn't beat down the door to go to it, though, especially if John passes on it. If Stevie and Lindsey have made up or are able to fool enough of the people enough of the time, at least, then it would be kind of nice if the four of them could fashion something memorable from an unfinished Christine demo that's been lying around for not too long.

there's the rub. John seems very set on not performing again. I'm not even sure at this point a huge sum of money just to him would be enough motivation. (And who of the other 3 would give up some of their share to even make that happen?? Mayyyyyyyybe Mick at best....becuz you know Stevie and her people won't give up a dime, and seems unlikely Lindsey would.... In order of imaginary possibility I'd rank it Mick, then Lindsey, then Stevie except never Stevie.)

We know Mick would follow these two (BN) wherever, ESPECIALLY Stevie. John however doesn't sellout that easily.. So I'd vote, in the words of Stevie, "Not. Gonna. Happen."

For me, the definitive Rumours documentary was the 1997 Classic Albums Fleetwood Mac: Rumours. Everything after that was more of the same, except Destiny Rules and the old Tusk doc. I mean, all other recent FM docs are mainly about Rumours, where they repeated what people learned with the´97 doc. And with few minutes of the post Rumours years.

The only thing I'd find interesting is if they went into more detail about the 80s albums, and the tours in general. I hope the Apple doc does that. But in this case the news are about the 50th anniversary of Rumours, so I'm not expecting anything new in terms of documentaries.
