Bleed to love her…is one of my favourite Fmac songs.
Yes…. Bleed to Love Her is one of my all time favourites.
Post 87, Lindsey has shown a capability of easily writing mainstream ear candy. I can’t remember what the context was, but I do recall him talking about ‘Fleetwood Maccy’ songs. I think it was around the time of Extended Play when he was trying to entice Stevie to make a FM album. I wonder whether he ever has regrets that he didn’t stay more mainstream in both his FM and solo music in the 70’s and early 80’s. Does he regret not making things more Fleetwood Maccy back in the day when he had the chance?

I don't know. It's a possibility. But if he does, what I'm sure is that he would never admit it.

In regards to the previous question about Buckingham potentially having regrets about not doing more "Fleetwood Maccy" songs, he did somewhat touch upon this in an interview with Entertainment Weekly.

"In Fleetwood Mac, [I was] called upon to do more the rock side of things, but not necessarily the mid-tempo pretty stuff. I had that in me, and 'Trouble' was a good representation of that. I was covering a broader landscape musically."
