Unexpected FM

This week on Big 80s SiriusXM countdown 1983. Stand Back moves up from #9 to #6 and will be one week away from its peak chart position. It would be Stevie's last self written top 10 hit. It was huge this summer and was all over the video channels. The Police are #1 with Every Breath You Take but #2 is the Eurythmics which will take over the top spot shortly. Some great songs this summer. Remember Asia's last top 10 hit "Don't Cry." This summer was all about Thriller, Flashdance, Synchronicity, Pyromania, The Wild Heart.
My favorite Men At Work Song "It's A Mistake" was also in the top 10 at this time.

I wouldn't say that SHE wrote it, if Prince wrote the music.

Holiday Road appeared as a suggestion in my YouTube Home page. Unexpected since I don't usually look for Lindsey videos, but probably it's because it is enough smart to relate it to my searches for Mac videos.

Kind of silly video I must say.

The closing sequence of episode 5 of the CBC series North of North features Stevie's Talk to Me loud and clear.

Bella Donna? Holy crap. That's rare af!

I heard GYOW in the Piggly Wiggly yesterday. It's like the official FM grocery store! And I'm an in and out guy. I'm in there less than 5 minutes, and hear a FM song 60% of the time!

Yep. Truly an odd choice. Probably my favorite song on Bella Donna.

I also heard "If You Ever Did Believe" at a coffee shop recently. That took me by surprise.

I just started to watch The Americans. Tusk in the first episode.

An author who has published a couple of books of chronicles about the gay life in Peru during late 20th century and the early 21th, has posted in his Instagram announcing his next book reading event, while Seven Wonders can be listened. The most unexpected thing is that it is the early version from the 2017 Deluxe Tango edition.

Sounds like he's writing a path to the rainbow's end

Some old hippie we call Woodstock just played the original Oh Well on the jukebox. I walked outside and said, "who the F played this fkng song?" He said, "I did". I said, "cool", and gave him two thumbs up.
