I know part of the I Want My MTV book excerpts about Hold Me have been posted, with John drunk and trying to punch the guy and Stevie not wanting to walk on the hot sand, but I do not think I have seen some of this before.

When asked about directing “Hold Me” for Craig Marks and Rob Tannenbaum’s I Want My MTV (where all the following quotes are taken from, and a book which you really, really need to buy if you have even the slightest interest in the first decade of MTV), Barron described the band as “not easy to work with” as a result of their “many relationship dynamics.” Almost all the band members couldn’t stand to be in the same room together for a long time. Christine McVie spent so long in makeup that she wasn’t ready to be shot until it was dark outside. “That wasn’t a good video, that one,” says Barron. I disagree.

Simon Fields, producer for the video, has a lot to say about the video shoot, “’Hold Me’ was a ****ing nightmare, a horrendous day in the desert. John McVie was drunk and tried to punch me. Stevie Nicks didn’t want to walk on the sand with her platforms. Christine McVie was fed up with all of them. Mick thought she was being a bitch, he wouldn’t talk to her. They were a fractious bunch.”

except I don't see any comments he/they made specifically about Lindsey as they did about the others....

Stevie was interviewed in that book and mentioned that "Lindsey Buckingham wasn't happy with me because I'd broken up with him six years before". This comment might be in relation to the "Hold Me" video as its the sentence right after her complaints about how hot the shooting was. However, she does go on a bit of a tangent about Mick's affair with her and later his relationship with Sara, so it's unclear if she meant that Lindsey was unhappy with her during the filming of "Hold Me" or just in general.
