Not that I'm looking for it. I guess Facebook's algorithm learns that I've clicked on previous similar posts and shows me more on the same (fake) topic. I find them funny anyway.
Bejeezus….who is the woman on Buffalo Bills left hand side?

The third one more resembles the old woman on the Mirage cover than it does Chris.

Default The complete biography
Now looking at the cover, this is definitely the definitive and most reliable biography.

The Complete Story of the Legendary Band

That is a strange one. The guy on the top left looks like a young Bob Geldof, the guy on the top right could be an amalgam of Bob Weston and Bob Welch.

And I think everyone looks upset after seeing that supposed Rumours cover next to Christine. Or is it Jane Goodall?

fecking hilarious.... Stanley is now a foodie, so why not in the band too. Though it's entirely unclear what instrument he would possibly be playing. Second tambo??

On a more serious note, has anyone else been a bit unnerved by the nonsense that a whole new generation is coming up with regarding this band? All sorts of half-assed sh*t that bears little resemblance to reality....people will SWEAR up and down their "expertise" about this band and I'm not sure exactly whose ass they've pulled it out of, but....

yeah that's an unsettling phenomenon. fans for a week based on a tiktok clip and yet somehow experts on all things mac related. very irritating to those of us who have kind of devoted our lives to it

Yes the photos are horrible but I love the name of the tour: Moonlit Mirage Farewell Tour.
I can almost hear Sheryl Crow warming up.

Not only regarding this band. In general, social media is full of fake info and theories. Just for example, I follow a mexican traveler youtuber that went with Oceangate to the Titanic in 2022. After the 2023 tragedy, he wrote that he was horrified by all the lies that were being written about the tragedy, without any basis in fact, when there was not even a single investigation yet. Similar to what I've read about the Air India accident, full of sh*t, and the black boxes had not even been analyzed.

I'm sure this has always happened. There are countless articles from the 70s and 80s in newspapers and magazines with absurd stories and even infamy about Elton John, Travolta, Princess Diana, etc.

The difference is that now it's not just magazines, but any person who writes on social media. And you don't need to buy a newspaper; just click on it and you're already reading lies that many people think are true.

Daisy Jones and the Six has caused this.

The photos are more flattering than what they actually look like, except they’re not smiling.
