I found the DVD "Edge of Seventeen" in a secondhand store and bought it, thinking "What a rare find!" Later I realized it wasn't the movie I'd thought. I had been thinking of that indie film "Gypsy 83" where the misfit kids travel to A Night Of 1000 Stevies. "Edge of Seventeen" is just some normie non-FM teen romcom drama I'm assuming.

I didn't know about that movie so I looked for it at IMDB, I see it is reated 7.3, a good score. The funny thing that could have been an Unexpected FM, but it wasn't, it's that Save Me and Trouble are included in the soundtrack. But neither of them are the songs I thought they were.

Maybe this has been commented in the past, since the episode was aired in 2023, but I'm just watching now Virgin River for the first time. And in S5.E2 they play Songbird. It also appears the Rumours album, and the episode is titled "Songbird".

It's always emotional to hear Christine, and even more so when it's unexpected.

The morning man on 70's on 7 was talking about Christine and how her birthday was coming up. Then he played Rhiannon.

And now in E6 they play a Songbird cover, by Band Willa. Not a bad version but it's not that pretty. I think I had heard better covers.

Sung by Christine? Cause you made me remember someone shared here long ago an audio file of Christine singing Gypsy. I was looking for it in my old hard drives but couldn't find it.

I wonder if Chris ever sang other Stevie songs. And vice versa.
