"If You Were My Love" Long Version
What a nice surprise it was, to find this gem by Stevie and Lindsey, on YouTube?
This was why I fell in love with her voice, all those years ago! "It goes on and on and on and on"! Indeed it does......!

It sounds like an early recording but the "long version".

Is it this? It's a longer version than the one included in the Mirage Deluxe edition.

This is one of my all-time favorites in every way. I used to have it on an old MP3 player. I know this was not used for some reason/kicked off of some album--Mirage?--but I always thought it would have been a HUGE hit. The song is quintessential SN.

"Quintessential" is the perfect word to describe how I feel about the song, also! It features the whole band at their best. John's bass playing is very clear, as well! I hadn't heard the Long Version and I'm so happy I have now!
