The 2nd leg of the Rumours tour in 1978 was the first time I saw the Mac live. I remember thinking it was a like a totally different band live vs. the album versions. (not a bad thing)

That leg is what they called the Penguin Country Summer Safari 1978, or so I read in Mick's book.

I always thought Lindsey got that haircut in 1979, for the Tusk release and tour. Even Mick mentioned in a autumn 1979 episode for the first time. "After a band meeting, in which we sat cross-legged on the floor and tried to firm up our set list, we finally begin to play. Lindsey has a new look, very modern: hair cropped short, narrow-lapel grey suit, quite ascetic."

It's weird to see Lindsey with that look in a Rumours concert.

Yes. The Rumours tour had the best GDW, Over My Head, Rhiannon, and Oh Daddy.
I love when Chris plays percussion on Second Hand News too.

I just can’t bring myself to refer to a month of shows that took place during the making of Tusk and that didn’t start until seven months after the last gig in December 1977 as a leg of the Rumours tour.

Come on! It was a completely stand-alone group of shows.

I love to watch early shows of this lineup. I guess the first concert was circa may 1975.

So I found this, it say is Capitol Center Largo, too. But may 10 1975. Maybe it's the oldest video of an entire? show in YouTube. Or is there another one from an earlier date?

Fair point. Different mind-set. And Lindsey was getting even better at being a performer.
