There are so many artful outros on FM songs from the 71-74 period. While 1975’s “Crystal” might be the most sublime outro in the entire Mac catalogue, I thought it might be fun to celebrate the ones from the Welch-McVie and Welch-McVie-Kirwan years…

These are all good picks. The extended steel drum solo at the end of "Did You Ever Love Me" never fails to put a smile on my face. I also have a soft spot for the unusual fade out-on "Forever" that occurs in the middle of the final verse.

That’s a cool way of seeing it. Yes, it’s all an outdo, isn’t it?

I guess “Safe Harbor” from HAHTF is similar in that way.
