Default Rick Vito interview

I don't remember if this was mentioned in a previous post, I didn't find any thread. It's a 2019 Rick interview.

Most of the interview mentions things we already know, but what caught my attention was this paragraph which I think is completely wrong, to say the least. Or is there something I don't know? 4 Mac albums between 1987 and 1991 with Rick?

Vito handled lead guitar duties with Burnette coming aboard on rhythm, and he recorded four albums and a concert video with the band before separating to devote his career to his own band and the blues. The last time he appeared with the group was two years later, when he rejoined them to perform at Super Bowl XXVII.

I read something similar about Billy Burnette, which made no sense until I saw the discography in the back of Billy’s autobiography. So whoever wrote this article on Rick is including the following FM albums:

Greatest Hits
Behind the Mask
25 Years the Chain boxset
The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac

Now it partially makes sense, cause have recorded singles for compilation albums is different from "recorded four albums". And there was no new song in The Very Best of.

True. I would guess they’re saying that songs that Rick recorded with FM are on all four albums, which of course is technically true. It’s just not all new material on each album. I bet if that interview had taken place more recently, they would have included the most recent FM compilation as well (50 Years Don’t Stop).
