A couple of posters have observed that Mick and Lindsey may have had some sort of rapprochment. How would people feel about the two of them forming some sort of new entity with a couple (or three) of perhaps younger musicians, with at least one being a singer-songwriter.
It seems that John is retired and probably would pass on it but such a group could highlight Lindsey's talents, maybe broaden the style and scope of music they could play whilst nodding back to the Mac. Mick is always entertaining to watch (excluding the never-ending solo, I will admit) and they could play theatres and smaller venues. Calling it Fleetwood Buck would be a neat bit of marketing, a bit like Jefferson Airplane/Starship, and it would keep her indoors quiet. Any thoughts? Who might they recruit? Would you go and see them?

Mick needs money. He will do it as a financial decision while Lindsey would do it as a creative outlet. Its sad they have to call the band another name because the witch is not part of it. You think they have nothing to lose anymore. She was furious that Lindsey and Christine went on without her. Lindsey going out with Mick would drive her nuts.
I can see Lindsey bringing his bassist for John and maybe Dan Perfect for a little deep tracks from Chris's career. If it happens I say Buck everyone. Call it Fleetwood Mac!

I would imagine a set that was one third Lindsey solo material, one third mostly Lindsey-penned Mac stuff and the remainder to highlight whoever else was involved. It might be a cool way to advance some young talent as Lindsey and Mick reach their golden years. Just an interesting what if....

It’s bad enough that the BuckMcVie album wasn’t under the Fleetwood Mac banner and then did a tour without Lindsey. No, I don’t think it will be “Fleetwood Mac “ just call it Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood |

The name Fleetwood Mac was created by Peter, long ago. But nowadays, to name a band Fleetwood Buck would be JUST for marketing. Mick doesn't produce nor write songs, so in the end it will only means Mick is playing drums in a Lindsey Buckingham album and/or shows. Good for them if they do that but the idea does not excite me.

What you'd hope for and what you get would be mostly the hits with a bunch of covers everyone knows. Few people will pay to see dinosaur acts perform new music.

And some of the dates would be cancelled due to low attendance and most small theaters would be half full. Can you imagine what Mick would be charging for his meet and greets for this?
