This is what Jimmy Paxson(drummer for Buckvie, Stevie, Lindsey, and Dixie Chicks) wrote just now.
Jimmy Paxson Remembering Chris one year after her passing (which for some unexplainable reason (to me) seems like lifetimes ago). Hard to believe she is physically gone. Not only was it a TOTAL honor to play music with her - it was also a total honor to spend time in her presence, to feel her humorous fast wit, to feel her kind and compassionate heart (which truly was like no other) and to hear her constant subtle outflowing of affirmations to remind you that you mattered. The world could use more Christine McVie’s who truly was and always will be a one of a kind. All praise “Christine ****ing McVie” I love you beyond. #somgbird(sic)
