WHO pays $1800? Is unbelievable to me that people pay that. I saw them twice in Nashville when Vince and Deacon first joined(2015?), and paid $100 each night. I mean, they were crappy seats, but I'd rather see them from crappy seats than part with $1800! It boggles my mind to try and understand how people can rationalize paying those prices.

Especially for a classic rock band that has toured rather extensively for the last nearly 30 years since their first “reunion.” I’m sorry but I can’t fathom this level of demand for them at this point. I wouldn’t pay $1800 a seat to see anyone at this point. Nobody.

I want to say I paid $300 last time I saw them. Kind of middle floor in front of the soundboard.

Same. Again, I paid $350 when Christine returned, for decent seats, but I'll never pay even that for anyone again. The queen is gone. I wouldn't pay more than $100 to see them now, even if Lindsey came back(AND I DON'T WANT HIM TO COME BACK). It's over. Stick a fork in it, Mick.

I saw the Eagles in '02/'03 on their FIRST Farewell Tour We had 75.00 nosebleed seats and moved down to the lower bowl because there were large blocks of empty seats that were unsold. It was a great show, but never had the urge to see them again since. Beyond them performing Hotel California as a whole, they've largely done the same show for decades.

Joe Walsh was the only one that appeared to not be on complete auto-pilot. The rest of the band was as robotic as it could get. I saw a clip on youtube a few years ago of them performing Hotel California and it seemed like the tempo had really slowed down.

They've had to drop the key of Hotel as well. The original is in Bm, and they do it in Am now.

That first Farewell tour was the first time I saw them. I’ve seen them many times since on almost every tour except the History of the Eagles tour and this current one. I saw the Hotel California show in early 2022 I think and that will be my last show. They still put a good show on but it is auto pilot and it’s just the same crap over and over. Even Henley who at one point was dropping seemingly half of his solo material into the set is basically only doing Boys of Summer now. Vince Gill and Deacon work but there’s just nothing to see that I haven’t seen anymore. The only way they’d have gotten me to go this time was adding Felder back and that literally would take hell freezing over.

Don’s voice has really gotten noticeably worse over the last few years. When I saw them last he mentioned he was sick and his speaking voice sounded horrible that night. His singing was still good but certainly much more limited than he used to be. The trade offs of being able to age…

I've got a live DVD of Christchurch NZ. The weather was HORRIBLE(the crowd is hunkered under ponchos, and the rain never let up), and Don struggled the entire night, with Timothy even doubling his parts in some places, trying to help him out(Boys of Summer in particular - Don wasn't even getting close).

Hey, he's 76, what can we expect? I'd say he's doing pretty good for 76.

I really thought when Glenn died, that they'd bring Felder back. I've always believed the major rift was between Glenn and Felder. Don tried to hire him for his first solo band, for god's sake! Felder(per his book) didn't think he was being offered enough money. I think it was either 5k a week, or 5k a show(I don't remember now). But I've always thought that Felder SMOKED Joe. His solos are 10 times more interesting!!

Here is the million dollar question.
I definitely would not pay any of these prices to see Stevie or the Eagles. Would you pay $1800 if you could go back in time and get good seats for the Rumours, Tusk or Mirage concert?
I would! And I think it would be worth every penny.
