"Tennessee Whiskey" or is that "I'd Rather Go Blind"

The band's next song was "Tennessee Whiskey," a song by country singer Chris Stapleton that I was unfamiliar with, but it is practically a note-for-note copy of "I'd Rather Go Blind." It seems like an eerie coincidence that the band's performance of a song by Christine was followed by something that sounded just like a song from Christine's early career. I wonder if they knew what they were doing and this was their attempt to give a tip of the cap to Christine's early career, disguised as a cover of a recent hit.

The Chris Stapleton version of “Tennessee Whiskey” took the lyrics from a song by the same name and set it to the music of “I’d Rather Go Blind.”
