But the difference with Mick wanting a BN song and Christine doing one of her recordings is that Chris, Stevie, and Lindsey made albums in FM. So it's part of the story of the band. Mike and Neil joined a band with no new music to play. It's not Mike and Neil's fault. |

Hypothetically, if the band had brought back Dave Mason and played “We Just Disagree,” “Only You Know & I Know,” and “Feelin’ Alright,” would that been okay? He was a member of Fleetwood Mac and released an album with them. What if they brought Billy back, but he only did “Don’t Say No,” “Tangled Up In Texas,” and “Ain’t Got The Heart” in addition to the Lindsey songs, would people have been okay? See, this is why I call BS. Fleetwood Mac did what it always did whenever they brought in someone new. The problem wasn’t the songs, the problem was the situation and the reaction would have been the same regardless.

![]() Just no to the Lindsey songs. And Dave did those songs, maybe not all when they did Time songs in concert. Billy did Tear It Up when they were performing Tango songs. |

One minute you’re claiming poor Mick had to scramble to get Mike and Neil and now you’re claiming they were hired because they wanted to record? Mike Campbell has already stated that he “assumed” there was an inclination to record new music because that’s how the Heartbreakers operated, but quickly found out that the tour was their only priority.

It's true, but actually whenever they brought in someone new, the band was performing new music in their setlist. With Mike and Neil, they weren't.

But that has nothing to do with Fleetwood Mac playing non-Fleetwood Mac songs. That’s a different discussion.

Extended Play wasn't released until 2 weeks plus after the first 2013 show, but FM did the new songs Sad Angel and Without You before the release any way. |

I don’t know about ya’ll, but for the past fifteen years every Fleetwood Mac show I’ve attended, I was really expecting them to play “Power of Love” by Huey Lewis and the news. I was shocked that it didn’t happen. What gives, if they do Stand Back they should be doing Huey Lewis too. Right!?

Since Lindsey, Stevie, or Christine didn't write it, I'll say fine. But I think Rick or Billy songs should've been performed instead of Lindsey's.
I support Billy doing Tear It Up because new music was being performed in the same setlist. |
