Default Jimmy Iovine inducted RRHOF

Interestingly, he was inducted by Bruce Springsteen and of all the people he thanked or pointed to as contributing to his success, he didn't appear to mention Stevie among all the greats he's worked with..

Shocking. Considering their relationship. And her track record with relationships.

Did she mention Jimmy in her acceptance ramble? She didn't even mention Waddy apparently.

Yes, she did. He was a major character in her speech. And she mentions him every night at her concerts.

Surprised he never mentioned his masterpiece Rock A Little that he was a major part of.

Amazing message from Alanis about the environment at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony.

Of course, they reduced Pat Benatar for years waiting a long time to induct her and by not inducting the Queen of Rock and Roll Tina Turner (Lizzo agrees) as the first female double inductee.

Regarding Pat Benatar and how long it took her to be inducted- it sounds like that was actually her decision! Apparently, she wanted her husband to also be inducted along with her, and the first year he was eligible was this year. And here I always thought the RRHOF was to blame for her absence up to this point.

I didn't know that. He was on her first album. He wrote We Live For Love. Not sure why he would not have been eligible in the 2000s like she was.
