Susan reminded me that she and Steve met on The Ledge back in 1997, in a chat room, back when we used to have those. I remember him mentioning that as well.

No one knew Peter Green and Bob Welch's history like he did and he took us to school. He was funny, scathing and so knowledgeable. He told us a lot about FM and also about music in general and gave us firsthand tidbits too. Christine's laughter. Lindsey riding shotgun in a car.

Such sad news. As long as there is a Ledge, I will remember his contributions to it and will miss him, as I do wetcamelfood.

I am so sorry to hear this. I loved reading his posts.

Rock on, Steve. May you RIP

I don't log in very often these days, but sad to hear about Steve, he's really been around for so long. I first lurked around the Ledge back in '93 aged about 19 I think, so its like he's always been around. RIP.

And I remember the laughs you gave me when you relayed some of your wife’s comments to us. She was not a fan in the most humorous of ways.

Nothing has changed...

Devastating news. He was one of the reasons to come to the Ledge. Always worth reading. Always learned something. He loved the band and, as he saw it, championed its essence.
