It's also your choice to not read/ignore comments that you don't like, instead of making statements lamenting about people lamenting about the situation. Right?

Well, you haven't really left the building if you're on a Stevie Nicks forum talking about how much you hate her. And I'm not saying you're wrong to do what you're doing, but it's the same thing when people go to the Lindsey Buckingham forum and talk about how much they hate him, or call him names, etc.

yes, very curious for a woman who wants us to believe she was always all about empowering women blah blah blah.
She's always been about her ego and needing to be the one and only woman in the room getting all the men's attention. She used to brag that being "Stevie Nicks" she could get any man she wanted. Now that that's no longer the case, she spins it that she "isn't interested" in having a relationship. Maybe true, but maybe not and now it's more out of her control.... possibly feeding the need for ongoing big success in her career.... It's one thing to no longer be a femme fatale, but to be a former "it" girl AND no longer drawing an audience would be way too much for her ego to handle. Listen, good for her, I was a MASSIVE fan of her for decades, still have some attachment to her older music, but being older myself and being able to see more clearly her issues, I am fine to leave her to the side. Thing is, she's always been like this, we just hadn't seen it so brazenly before and we're all more mature adults and less the infatuated teenagers who gushed over her back in the day. Time moves on. This is apparent in her performances as well.

It is not lamenting from Lindsey fans, it is full on raging hate. See the difference?????

Yes, I said she sounded like an idiot. I did not say I hate her. I even said in one of my posts "don't take this as an attack" As I said before, it's hysterical that people keep complaining about the folks who keep complaining. It's a two-way street. I don't even know why I'm replying to this BS, it doesn't even warrant a response. Yeah, I'm a real rager. Right. Me inserting humour with giphy in 90% of my posts, I'm scorching earth. Right.

https://www.vogue.com/article/2019-r...ction-ceremony
Every show deserves to begin the way the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony did: with Stevie Nicks belting “Stand Back” to an audience who was just as enthralled by her performance today as they were when the single first came out. “This is the original ‘Stand Back’ cape from 1983,” Nicks said, which isn’t particularly surprising given her recent comments about the temperature-controlled vault she keeps for her shawl collection. Nicks was at the peak of her witchy Wiccan powers at the ceremony, which unfolded Friday night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center ahead of its televised debut on April 27 on HBO. She was one of the seven inductees, including Radiohead, Def Leppard, The Cure, Roxy Music, The Zombies, and Janet Jackson (or Miss Jackson, if ya nasty). While the ceremony made sure to give each of the inductees their lion’s share of attention, it was definitely Nicks who made the splashiest appearance of the evening. And it’s understandable why, given that she made history as the first woman to ever be inducted into the Hall of Fame for the second time (having previously been inducted as a member of Fleetwood Mac in 1998). After performing “Leather and Lace” with her original duet partner Don Henley, Nicks introduced another special guest: Harry Styles. There to induct Stevie, he gave a loving tribute that was simple in execution, but deeply felt by the audience. “She is more than a role model—she’s a beacon to all of us. Whenever you hear her voice, life gets a little bit better. When she sings, the world is hers and it is yours. She is everything you’ve ever wanted in a lady, in a lover, in a friend. Stephanie Nicks, I love you. We all do. And that is true, Stevie.” Nicks’s own speech was the sort of delightfully deranged wonder that only someone as beloved as her could get away with. Equally heartfelt and hilarious, Nicks essentially delivered a stand-up routine that one eagle-eyed Twitter user pointed out went over each inductee’s allotted six minutes. But given the hoots and hollers coming from the crowd, and how much fun Nicks was obviously having, one can assume that the Hall of Fame isn’t too upset. “You all have been a fantastic, fantastic audience. . . . Thank you!” Nicks said. “If you ever need a keynote speaker, somebody to talk to, someone to talk to a group of people—I am your girl.” Concluding with a duet of “Stop Draggin’ My Heart Around” that saw Styles standing in for Tom Petty.

And all of the Buckheads who are so tired of being told to get over it, move on, etc. would be telling the Chiffonheads the exact same thing. That's the part that Team Lindsey would never admit.

Sorry to have made you feel singled out. I was referring to a critical mass of over the top posts all over the forum for the last year and may have swept you into the pile inadvertently. You must admit there are some pretty extreme expressions of hate on here.

Yeah...well it's all pretty well documented and public knowledge. There's one reason why there wasn't a new album with the 5 fireflies and one reason why one of the last remaining bands of a defining era are no longer complete....all over a rehash tour dispute that will be completely forgotten about in 5 years time. It would still be a rehash tour with Lindsey included, so spare me that line. My point is the whole thing was a giant display of greed fueled childish behavior. It was completely unnecessary, they should of hung it up for a year or for good. I'm not trying to rehash what we have all discussed a million times, I'm just saying that all the hopes of putting a nice bow on this little gift we called fleetwood Mac was abruptly smashed in the last remaining years of their productivity. That is why people are upset.
Had there been more substance or cause behind the drama, people may not have had the same type of reaction. Looking at it objectively, that induction speech is an eye opener for me. Even had the events of the past year not taken place, I would of taken pause after witnessing that "speech"...and I'd say the same thing If Lindsey got up there and did the same. I'm sincerely not trying to be mean, but that was rather an incoherent mess and I cannot defend her on that.

Yeah, but the scandal in her family is much, much worse than Fleetwood Mac.
