I don't even name Stevie in the quote you took from me. She is not my concern. I don't relate to Lindsey Buckingham in the same way I do to a family member. It is hard to feel anything sincere apart from hope that his musical talents will continue as this is the only thing I know or enjoy about him. He's a celebrity to me. I don't know Lindsey the man. Ditto all this for Stevie if something were to happen to her.

Seems like you’re disappointed LB pulled through because it robbed you the opportunity to raise the bitterness past eleven.

Of course he waited and probably only the clean up crew heard it. Do we have any more reports on the show tonight? Was Goat gloating?

Ex-Fleetwood Mac star Lindsey Buckingham’s vocal cords damaged during heart surgery His wife shares his progress with post to his Instagram account Lindsey Buckingham performs at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, Calif., on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018. (Nhat V. Meyer/Bay Area News Group) By CICERO ESTRELLA | [email protected] | Bay Area News Group PUBLISHED: February 8, 2019 at 4:44 pm | UPDATED: February 9, 2019 at 4:58 am Lindsey Buckingham is back home recuperating from open heart surgery, but the emergency procedure from last week left the former Fleetwood Mac singer and guitarist with a damaged vocal cord. Buckingham’s wife, Kristen, on Friday shared the news of her husband’s recovery from his Instagram account. She let his fans know that the 69-year-old was doing well, but the extent of the damage to his vocal cord was still unknown. “I am sad to say that late last week Lindsey underwent emergency open heart surgery. He is now recuperating at home and each day he is stronger than the last,” Kristen Buckingham wrote. “While he and his heart are doing well, the surgery resulted in vocal cord damage. While it is unclear if this damage is permanent, we are hopeful it is not.” Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie made up the trio of lead vocalists from the most popular and commercially successful iteration of Fleetwood Mac. He sang lead on such hits as “Go Your Own Way” and “Big Love.” He was an integral part of the band starting in 1975, but the other four members fired him last year, reportedly at the insistence of Nicks. “Our relationship has always been volatile,” Nicks, who dated Buckingham in the ’70s, told Rolling Stone. “We were never married, but we might as well have been. Some couples get divorced after 40 years. They break their kids’ hearts and destroy everyone around them because it’s just hard. This is sad for me, but I want the next 10 years of my life to be really fun and happy. I want to get up every day and dance around my apartment and smile and say, ‘Thank God for this amazing life.'” Buckingham sued his former bandmates over his dismissal, but he revealed in December that the two sides had settled out of court. “This past year has been a very stressful and difficult year for our family to say the least,” Kristen Buckingham continued in her IG post. “But despite all this, our gratitude for life trumps all obstacles we have faced at this moment. We feel so fortunate he’s alive. As does he.” She added that Buckingham’s family has had a history of heart issues, and that he had lost both his father and brother to heart-related illnesses. He looks forward to recovery and putting this behind him,” wrote Kristen Buckingham. “Needless to say, all touring and shows currently scheduled have been put on pause for the moment as he gathers the strength to heal completely. Following their split, Fleetwood Mac added former Crowded House singer/guitarist Neil Finn and ex-Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell to their roster and went on tour. Our reviewer found the Buckingham-less band lacking, to say the least. Buckingham also hit the road as a solo artist.

The only thought he ever has, IMO, is "where's my next scheme dough coming from?". What a LOSER he is.

-------- "At the beginning of GYOW Neil said, “Let’s sing this for Lindsey, get well!” I didn’t get this on video tho. Then at the end Mick said a bit and I got it so I’ll post it later. Stevie was pretty quiet most of the night. --------- And HOW F*CKING RUDE for them to have Neil say it. Like the a$$holes that have known him for 43 years couldn't say it. #SCUMBAGS

Hate can be pretty destructive, so I'm wondering how
much longer you guys and gals plan on carrying it around? Thankfully our guy is recovering. |

I can't tell if you're kidding or not. If you're not, I sincerely hope you're less bitter in reality than on this site.
Hope Lindsey recovers well and this puts things into perspective for Stevie and Mick. Between him and John it's sad getting reminders that all five of these guys are potentially not gonna be with us that much longer :/

I know it’s a case of..damned if they didn’t, damned if they did...but they should have said something, some kind word of thought for their friend if 40 odd years. I think shame has a lot to do with it, I think they are starting to be ashamed of their ****e actions. Pity it has taken such a drastic thing to make them feel ashamed, publicly. I guess Lindsey's old rock star lifestyle has finally caught up with him. His temper tantrums and fondness for violence must have also put a big strain on his heart.

Even NF that probably doesn't even know Lindsey had the decency to say something and pay tribute to his songs. Stevie's silence only reinforces the idea that it was her idea to fire him. She has to know something like this might happen. I'm sorry but I care about him and I don't know if wanting to mend things with her is such a good idea when she seems to want the opposite. ![]() ![]() ![]()
