The lack of enthusiasm for this record does show how Fleetwood Mac as a band is close to finishing.

The whole Lindsey debacle put off many fans like me.

I love what this band was, but what it is now is just incredibly sad.

The lack of enthusiasm for this uninspired record would have still been a dud if Lindsey hadn't of left. ZERO new material. Recycled collection.
I could care LESS about the current line-up, but critics have loved it, it's selling out and doing very well.
The only complaints I see are on the Ledge a few random youtube/facebook posts by the same 7-10 people that repeat themselves like a parrot. In the real world of Los Angeles and Miami, I hear nothing about it. People care more about their lives and families and own jobs than they do that Buckingham is no longer with FM.

I also worked a season in yellowstone in the summer. I travel for work a lot. I subscribe to trade mags like Billboard, and Variety.
Anything I or somebody else says will get a negative reply if it's not supporting the doom and gloom of Buckingham's departure.
It's a shame he's no longer in the band.
But their legacy will always be intact.

Their legacy is f*cked.

Difficult to imagine someone with a "Stevie name" not thinking so.

It has nothing to do with my username.
As I have stated numerous times, I don't support the current line-up and am not attending the tour.
Fleetwood Mac's legacy is cemented into the history books.
They will always be one of the most iconic rock groups of all time and Lindsey will always be regarded as a genius guitarist and craftsman.

Lindsey's Solo Anthology has two new songs and one BuckVie song. Those three songs could have been part of this compilation if Stevie had said 'yes' to a new FM album when Lindsey tried to convince her to record new material that ultimately ended up being the BuckVie album. But because she said 'no'...

Critics haven't exactly loved it. I read more 'meh' reviews than 'oh, this is so good! Lindsey who?' ones. And it's not doing very well. It took them 6 months to start selling a second MSG. Six months.

I'm sure people also care more about their real lives in the whole world than Stevie being inducted again. I'm sure that day will go unnoticed by many people except for those 7-10 people on YouTube/Facebook/Twitter/IG that repeat themselved like a parrot because she's the first female that was inducted twice.

How old are you? Five? I was talking to you, not to Homer.

Just ignore me, just like I do with some people here, instead of posting a stupid comment, just to avoid the fact that some band members belongs to the looney bin.

I know it's hard and you're all mad because we were right since day one.

Does the Anthology numbers take into account all the free items handed out as part of concert tickets?

I'm not mad.
You have the right to your opinion.
Life is too short to get mad over anonymous strangers on a message board.
You and Homer tag-team people all the time on here that don't share your opinions.

Solo Anthology is a 3 CD compilation. What we got at concerts was a solo CD. I think what they take into account is the 3 CD compilation.

Anyway, both 50 years: Don't Stop and the Solo Anthology flopped after a week at Bilboard charts. It'd have been nice if they stayed at least for two weeks.

In My World, Feel About You and Red Sun could have been big hits for the MAC if it was promoted as Fleetwood Mac and Stevie was prominent on the tracks. Those songs would have been a nice addition to this compilation.

I agree! BuckVie promoted as FM(yes, including the goat) would have gotten airplay. There are some damned catchy songs on there! It's been in my car CD rotation since the day it came out(June 9th, 2017!-yes, I know that from memory).

But someone couldn't be bothered to give us a swan (or goat) song. Old hag.
