Lightbulb FM doing the dinosaur rock?!

It's gotta be something new....we all know how FM hates to be a nostlagia act. If they were to do "Rhiannon", "Landslide', or "Go Your own Way" what would people think?! *These guys only have the oldie hits to offer....ahhh nothing new or exciting from them. And they're up for an AMA? WTF!!!* It'd be foolish for them to perform an old song. With that being said, I think they'll opt for a newbie performed on the tour, and it will be "Say Goodbye"!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it will be either SYW or a medley like they did at the Grammies, one minute of each song so nothing ever builds to any emotional climax but no egos are hurt that one of them got to sing lead.

Another bet for it probably being Peacekeeper because it's got the BN duet thing going on (let's hope to the gods that the mike levels are right this time, as opposed to Leno), plus it's been released in the UK atm, so from a commercial point of view (assuming that the AMAs are probably broadcast in the UK; they are here) it's a surefire. They haven't had a chance to guage public reaction to a live performance of either Thrown Down or SYHA (you know, except for the rabid fans at the Soundstage, which isn't a very telling indicator for them), so they'll go with what they know.
Unfortunately.
But better Peacekeeper than SYW. I like both songs but the former translates much better live, I think most of us would agree.
But WHATEVER they sing - I just hope they look like they're enjoying it!!

yeah, I'd say Lindsey would have vetoed that suggestion straight away. They would *not* fly back to the States to perform Rhiannon or something. Hah, could you just imagine Lindsey's expression if a WB PR guy or someone suggested that.

Ah Joe, Say Goodbye. I like your optimism.

At the five shows I saw I thought SYW translated much better than Peacekeeper. As for the B/N sound, I think Miranda does it better.

Default because of

what I saw last night in oberhausen, and the fact that I am CONVINCED that the fact that stevie has more commercial musical appeal then lindsey is an american gotspe, and I wanna win this prediction alone, I'd say HIT IT BOYS! perform Come.

I doubt it will be anything new. It will be something recorded at their concert and then broadcast by satellite

If its new I hope its THROWN DOWN...ya never know...Stevie did FALL FROM GRACE, which was a long shot at the 2001 Blockbuster Awards...and it wasnt the single...

A lot of artists will be doing their new singles that night...Sheryl Crow will be performing "First Cut is the Deepest," her new single...a lot of people DO peform their new songs and/or songs they arent nominated for....BUT I am not going to get my hopes up...I'd rather hear an old song that SYW or PEACEKEEPER tho...so I'm sticking my vote to THROWN DOWN anyway

You mean the old Cyndi Lauper song?
"I gotta hole in my heart that goes all the way to China... you better fill it up with love before I fall inside of... this empty hole in my heart the goes all the way to China... and though you can't see the bottom, believe me, it's a long way down...."

Uhm... sorry. I'll stop singing now. *blushes*

No, just mixed the title up. The great show yesterday still seems to confuse my mind
