I daresay SM is a member of such sites. I don't have a problem with that.

But he must accept that he can't make us love NF.

I personally am also getting to the point where I can't stand the sight of the man. I long for the days, just a few short months ago, when I didn't know who the hell Neil Finn was.

This is my beef. When Billy and Rick came, the circumstances didn't allow them time. (no pun intended) However, they did BTM and played it on the tour. And might I add that Rick Vito had his own voice. It was bluesy and his performances were nothing to sneeze at. I enjoyed some of what he did. Billy was vibrant. (Go ahead and hate me, but that's how I felt at the time.)

This whole Fleetwood HouseBreakers Cover Band is so lame. I mean it's just lame. Cash grab, all stars, cover band central. A lead singer that has a range of 3 notes, and a keyboardist who chooses to hide herself. Unless of course both of them are doing weird hand gestures and acting like fools.

I don't care about the mixing problems, or $tevie singing off key. This whole thing is just lame. Like bib lettuce. It just lays there and does its job.

I've always loved Mike Campbell's guitar playing. I still do, and enjoyed his solo on The Chain. Even his interpretation of it. He's wasting his time playing in FM. He needs to keep playing with the Heartbreakers. He'll always click with them best. Petty is irreplaceable, but it doesn't mean those group of guys can't keep working together in some fashion as a band.

Neil Finn was the only one singing in tune. I believe he could have brought something to the Mac in a different time. He and Christine could possibly write some good songs together and establish a history, if there was more time to reinvent this band.

Christine does look good. She's also very stylish in her wardrobe. So much more chic than her FM sister. But then again she's a singer in the band who plays the keys. I really didn't hear either in these performances. Maybe it's best for her to focus her attention on writing a cookbook and starting a line of clothing for hip senior citizens.

Mick played the crap out of his drums. He was one of the most interesting things to watch. It was like he was playing for his life. Maybe he is.

To me, Stevie has become the dead weight in this band. Her voice is barely tolerable to me anymore. It is just a drone. Her choice of the same clothes to the same mannerisms have become so boring and ridiculous.


Performing songs about 40 yrs old work with the Rumours 5 doing them because of the history and legacy of the band. Lindsey brings the edge. Without him they just seem so lackluster and empty.

No hate. I liked Billy, too. He had sort of a goofy, kid-brother personality onstage. He was accessible (artistically) and musical. It wasn't until he did his Q&A at the Penguin that I got a little disgusted. In that Q&A, Billy was dismissive and kind of snotty to us fans. By contrast, Rick was delightful and polite in his Q&A.

It's the weirdest thing hearing her praised for her singing today. I think either my hearing isn't good or everyone else's hearing isn't good. I posted to a private board that, back in 1982, she sounded like a bellowing steer (a good thing). Today, she sounds like a braying mule (a bad thing).

I remember how disappointed I was during the final leg of the 1990 tour and the entire 1991 solo tour that Stevie had none of her signature vibrato (which always made her sound so alluring and passionate). In 1994 on her solo tour, she got her vibrato back, and how happy I was! I had been out of the Nicks fan community for many years, but that tour pulled me back in by sending me to the classifieds of Goldmine and Rolling Stone to look for tapes.

The worst days of the 1991 tour were GOLDEN compared with the way she sounds these days—on everything except Landslide because she somehow still manages to sing Landslide beautifully.

I’m not joking. I am willing to hear a price.

It is lunacy to say Lindsey can’t harmonize. BN was literally all about the harmonizing. And I get goosebumps from harmonizing and chord changes on songs I hate. Those Finn harmonies were blah—no “spine-chilling” sounds there, a curious phrase (usually referring to horror films) which I also saw repeated on Facebook. Sugar Mouse is legion.
