I am sure he's watched the Ellen snippets (everyone looks at the car wreck on the side of the road) and seen all the reviews. And today he comes out chatting with fans on Twitter. Love this.

He’s thinking about fans. You can see it on his songs choices for the setlist.

And I’m sure he enjoyed all the mixed reviews from yesterday (not sure if he actually watched it) and decided it was a good time to share this bittersweet moment of his life with fans.

Yes, I am in fact going to be playing “Down On Rodeo” in the set this time. How did you know? https://t.co/VLPNgJVIka

he BETTER! if he pulls it again the last minute like he did back in 2012, there will be h*ll to pay.

jk, he completely confirmed it. it's happening! finally!

Am I tweeting?? That doesn’t sound like me. I think I must be dreaming!! https://t.co/41auiiXVwa

Yes, if there’s ever a biopic, I think Shia would be great playing me. He seems to possess the requisite portions of intensity and heart, held in a delicate balance. He’s also a fine actor! https://t.co/pEWh28Ra7u
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 6, 2018

Those dog barks were a whim I added at the song’s end, not knowing there was a pivotal dog scene in the film. When director Harold Ramis heard it, he was amazed. Wonderful synchronicity! https://t.co/w8COLZ1l2A
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 6, 2018

and then this one was the first one today, i guess to try and prove it's really his circular organic bsing self before getting on the normal talking spree -

That’s great! As an artist, it takes the equation of time to know whether your work has meaning. When one’s creativity crosses generational lines, you begin to feel you’ve done your job properly!

Me too! I'm just hoping he packs it in after the tour so I can too.

Edit: Looks like I'd already created an account years ago but never used it. I've added the official lbuckingham as my first "follow".
The official Stevie Nicks account came up as a recommended follow. <-- Respectfully declined.

Given that he's spending some time online with social media, I wonder whether he or his kids are checking out the ledge. Hi, Lindsey Buckingham!

Lindsey writes just like he talks!

(i already posted the tweets about Tango - the song and the album - in the setlist thread, so will not repost them here.)

I’d love to collaborate with Kanye! Because we’re both people who paint pictures in which every gesture matters, it would have great synergy, and I think our differences would create a whole greater than the sum of the parts. https://t.co/yCP1vrFTGB
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 13, 2018

That’s actually Christine’s song Hold Me. I did acoustic versions of stuff for the walk in music on the last FM tour, and I guess @CameronCrowe was listening! https://t.co/Hjoo7AvwxU
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 13, 2018

That’s How We Do It In LA is one of a few comedic songs on Law And Order.
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 13, 2018

In the couple of years following the Tusk album, I think I felt a certain disillusionment, not only with the politics of FM, but with the music business in Los Angeles, and this was a reflection of those feelings. Still, as the song says of LA, “it’s the only place”!
— Lindsey Buckingham (@LBuckingham) September 13, 2018

It’s nice to know that what I’m doing has an effect that crosses generational lines. Thanks for listening!

Yes, I believe in the next week or so we will have someone come down to capture some rehearsal moments. Photos on the way! https://t.co/wTq08JqP8r

The pictures from my first couple of years in Fleetwood Mac always strike me as being quite innocent. How could any of us have guessed what was to come?! https://t.co/8RMjfZrKrX

So great to see more tweets.....not sure how I feel about a Kanye collaboration though

Storms123 · #56 09-14-2018, 05:09 AM

I really am so impressed by how he's using social media. It's so effective and really makes him that much more relatable.

I love the post about Buckingham palace

Kanye is the biggest jerk in Hollywood. If they tried to work together, Kanye would probably go on and on about how he's a better artist than Lindsey.

elle · #59 09-14-2018, 09:05 PM

#LindseyBuckingham has recorded an artist’s message for his Pandora station! Yooo this era has me quaking it’s so good already 😀😘😍🙌
