![]() No, No. If there's one thing I know about, it's clothing.
And it doesn't get any better than Stevie wearing black. If only Stevie would wear black more often. |

instagram photo. I say more like a blonde Mother Gothel. One thing's for sure. She needs to wear more black. |

I mean, I know she's playing something but either she or the band has decided not to mic her parts sufficiently. I'm not sure why. |

![]() Good thing LB is gone so they can spice up the setlist, with such buried tracks as The Chain and Gypsy.

![]() I'm still not sold CM was playing those trills. Extra keyboard guy was often playing two boards at once for certain parts it seemed.

![]() Sad that the CM/LB "Don't Stop" on Fallon had way more energy that the full band ensemble had on Ellen.

![]() I have no doubt he does.
It's like Meghan Markle marrying into the royal family. Suddenly the budgets and the accommodations and everything just got way bigger and more posh. It's always nice when you don't have to worry so much about the price tags on things anymore, and you get escorted to the front of the line ![]() Let's see how he feels at the end of the tour.

"Oh, that's just a bunch of cranky old fans who don't like change" "Oh they're all just Lindsey fans who hate Stevie" "Haters gonna hate"-- the new rationalization for anyone who legitimately disagrees with your opinion blah blah blah. Because it's easier to tell yourself that. In reality, most people who've posted on here watched hoping their favorite band wouldn't embarrass themselves; that they would make up for their sh*tty behavior with some stellar playing that would make everyone forget what they did and remember why they loved them and the music all these years. Didn't happen. Instead, this performance was sad and embarrassing. If this band, performing in this way, was a new band making their first tv appearance, there would be a lot of feedback and work being spent afterwards and probably a lot of PR spin to cover up for how bad it was. Instead a lot of people will forgive the performance because, well, "they're old" or "they were so great back in the day" or "they're legends". That's resting on your laurels and going through the motions for the paycheck. Stevie would be so much better in smaller, more intimate venues with a different choice of songs that suit her voice now or more 'unplugged' versions of songs or SOMETHING other than big arenas which she can't vocally or physically project in anymore. Singing off key and waving your hands around isn't really all that. And Chris isn't apparently singing OR playing anymore. Interestingly no second drummer but then again it was a small tv show. It'll be interesting to see if second drummer (Steve or otherwise) reappears on the road. At this point, other than John, the rest are as someone said becoming cardboard cutouts who stand up there and mime while the hired hands do all the playing. (And even LB with all his pre recorded tracks is a no-go for me) How far they have fallen.

![]() I'm sure he's plenty comfortable.
But travel with the Mac is at a standard far and above, I'd bet my house on it. The standard is set by Stevie and Mick, who tolerate nothing less than the very best 5 star hotels (eta: the presidential suites of course because "I demand it"), private jets, never carrying a suitcase, etc. Neil doesn't strike me as that hung up on that stuff; nice hotels, yes, but the royal treatment Stevie demands and Mick loves is the next level up for sure. Not hard to get used to I imagine. eta: How did Chrissie Hynde describe it: "Like traveling with Elizabeth Taylor"

![]() Her enjoyment was far more important than the band actually having a quality sound, so no wonder she's smiling. As far as she's concerned, "Mission Accomplished." The band could be in the crapper but she can still dance around the apartment as long as Lindsey's not there.
