Sweet November

Hello everyone
It's been a sweet November indeed...today, as I turn an old lady at 22, I fondly look back on what has been a fantastic summer and fall. I saw the Mac in action four times and renewed a love affair with them that I've had since I was 15. I recently saw the Mac in Denver and had one of the best nights ever, dancing and singing the night away with my friend and other cool fans around us (thanks to Jane and Shelly for borrowing your bonoculars!). Lindsey looked HOT in his jeans and Stevie was on fire, like I've never seen before. It was worth losing my voice for six days this year to say I was there...

I spent my birthday watching some awesome Mac tapes and clips I have and I have to say, Stevie really makes me laugh I had no idea that her black granny shoes were around in 2001! I saw them at the end of Fan Club as she's singing with Sheryl on Sorcerer. I also watched Stevie's performance on SNL in '83 and that has a few interesting things as well. Does anyone else think that the middle backup singer looks like Pat Benatar? Maybe it's just me...Waddy could be a clone of my friend Michael (seriously!) And I would love to know how long it took Stevie and her dancer dude from the Stand Back video to coordinate their head-jerks during the solo Also, has anyone else noticed the almost make-out session between Stevie and Lori on Nightbird? It just cracks me up

Well, I am off for a night of fun with friends. I just wanted to share with others (who I know understand the meaning of true fan) on how much the Mac has meant to me over the years.
Fleetwood Mac is the soundtrack to my life, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I think that applies to many of us, to whatever extent. I've always felt that Pink Floyd is the soundtrack to my life, and Fleetwood Mac is the soundtrack to my heart.

Fleetwood Mac and Pink Floyd.....two great bands to have as the soundtrack to your life, those are just two of the many that have mapped my life but they are the major players~~~

FM and the various solo stuff def. mark the significant periods of my life. Then, there are various and periodical punctuations by the likes of REM, B-52's, GoGo's, Zeppelin, Classical stuff like Mozart and Handle, the whole 80's stuff (Flock of Seagulls, Plasmatics, Blondie, Eurythmics (and Annir solo even more so), etc.

So, I think it is just great that throughout the changing times of my 36 (soon to be 37) years, FM has always been there in form or another.
