Whoever was responsible for FINALLY dissociating Sabremark and Jonathon **** from the "Fleetwood Mac" name probably doesn't realise just how MUCH good he/she did for the band's fans and its image.

So glad that The Knight in rusty armour has been relieved of his command.......this has been a great show of 'fan power'......well done to all of those involved with getting this slime removed from the band as a whole.......

Thank you, seeknpeace. You stuck to this like a tick on a mangy dog. Everyone in the fan community owes you a big hand.

Thanks to everyone else who got involved but chose to remain anonymous. After some of the dirty rotten things that were pulled on certain people early in this fight, it was hard to see this ending in favor of the fans.

Thanks to the people in the band who care and to their interested parties. You know who you are. We love you more than ever!

I personally apologize to any other fan I hurt or dissed during the fray, except those snakes who voluntarily got in bed with that mangy mutt...or should I say, slimy Toad?

I apologize to the band for believing they didn't care. Some of them care about us and their people care, too. I doubted it in the beginning, but I was wrong. I'm happy to admit it. Yipee!

Does this reinforce my faith in cycles?

Well, it does reinforce my faith in people. Thanks to everyone who supported this effort, especially the owners of this site for allowing the fan club issue to be discussed here uncensored. I don't know the Adelsons personally, but I know they've got the best damn fan site on the Internet. Thanks for keeping it alive.

This thought just came to me . . . I hope they didn't have to "buy" Toad out of his employment contract!

I am guessing that he probably had one - maybe there was some kind of provision in there that allowed them to "fire" him under certain conditions. So some of this delay could be because of legal mumbo jumbo. Just a thought!

Well, think about this. If you were him, wouldn't you prefer to say what was said than have it said? And, he did not have anything to do with the years mbrship extension, is my "opinion". He won't be here. I feel certain of that. But, nice that he wanted to let us think that he did, huh? Fine with me. Just SO glad he is going.

Thnak god he is finally gone. I am so tired of his lies and deceptions. The whole presale thing for concert tickets was SCAM and nothing more. !!!!!!!! Amen

Well I'll join in in saying how glad I am he is gone, lets just say my ticket buying was a complete disaster and I was such a pain that they eventually had to admit that they made a mistake at oakland and the passwords got posted early but the tickets that were sold during that time were not fan club tickets, mind you no refund was offered, thank goodness the tixs were good, but geez you would think that when joining the Fan Club you would want to buy those seats or at least not get stuck with the leftovers from the vip presale, and then have some ditz on the phone tell you that you have no idea what you are talking about, only to get an e-mail from the club later that you were right.
I think it took so long to fire the guy b/c he probably had about a one year contract, (I'm thinking its been about a year). I've also noticed how little participation from the band has been going on so I would be that this has been brewing for a bit.

Hate to be negative but this just seems like a political move. JT is probably happy to leave now since he's got all the money he's gonna get from this project by now (since they consider the US market the major one, I wouldn't say that but...) and by getting in new folk, it makes it look like they care about the fans.

I hope by the end of 2004 I can say I'm wrong about this and they will prove they care by doing something and not this "how it looks" stuff on it's own which to me doesn't prove a thing really. JMHO though.

Regardless of what happens, anything will be better than JT Managing the club...the year extension of memberships was a very nice gesture, something Todd had nothing to with I assure you...and I hope and I think things WILL in fact get better....a lot fans contributed and put a lot of hard work into this effort, and it really did pay off...Lindsey's management was concerned from day one that his fans were being mistreated....and thank God he is gone now...

Oh I had no doubt that Todd had nothing to do with good decisions like this

but Lindsey's management is much smarter than Todd and co. as they (LB's people) know how to get the job done while making themselves look good in the process, something Todd will never learn to do for sure.
