Default Would SOMEBODY fill me in?

I fell asleep before Stevie came out at the Radio Music Thing. I gather from another post that she sang on Running down a Dream? Details, please?

Well she didn't sing on Running Down a Dream, I guess there was a quick shot of Lori Nicks dancing to it but I must have missed that.
After the song was over the announcer said "ladies and gentlemen...Stevie Nicks!" And then she walked out all smiles and very happy looking...it's so great to see that. She had on the usual black dress but she was rocking some fab pair of boots. Then she said "ok...i have to make a speech." And then she went on to talk a bit about how she got hooked up with Tom and how he's her greatest musical influence. And she mentioned "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and the audience cheered and she kind of bowed to the audience and then to Tom and said "Yes, yes" That's all I can remember, but she was in such high spirits and was so cute. And she was very natural in her speech, I don't think she was reading off a teleprompter or anything...it was a very genuine speech.

Tracy has the clip of Stevie over at burnish.net and she has some great screenshots (particularly those rad boots!)

Thanks, Colleen, and G-d bless Tracey!!! (Couldn't make out the boots on my computer, though, but I'm not a big shoe person anyway. Glad they made folks happy.)

Default When Pigs Fly...

She is so cute when she talks. She seemed a little nervous but very earnest and happy. She messed up once when she was talking about how Tom was her greatest musical influence then and still is her greatest musical influence now. The repetitiveness of the "greatest musical influence" part reminded me of her little speech before Say You Will when she says this is from the Say You Will record except it's the song Say You Will. I was bummed she wore her usual outfit. I think she would look great in pants but the boots rocked.

She looked a little scared. All those hooters and hollerers seemed to put her in a weird place. I would have liked to have seen her do something cool w/Tom like Insider, but like Stevie said, "When pigs fly!"
