Continuing where they left off on their last masterpiece album, The War on Drugs new one is gorgeous. And there are several songs that sound like they were crafted on stage during a Fleetwood Mac show.
Check out "Pain" and "Thinking of a Place". Both of these songs could easily have Stevie on vocals and Lindsey on guitars. And if I didn't know any better I would be willing to bet money that Mick was on drums. Beautiful work from a band to watch. I hear influences from Springsteen, Dylan, Dire Straits, Neil Young and Fleetwood Mac. http://thewarondrugs.net/albumannounce/ Last edited by dontlookdown; 08-24-2017 at 12:41 PM.. |
