Just watched it again for the 10th time.
I like the bit where Christine says 'that's tasty' in reference to Carnival Begin. At least that's what I think she says.

A couple more observations;
I assume the piano piece at 8.30 is a snippet of Game of Pretend.
I also wonder whether the guitar piece at 11.52 is a snippet of Love is Here to Stay.

Also, just wanted to say How great Christine looks. At 11.20 when she's singing Red Sun in particular she looks absolutely radiant and in no way looks her 73 years.

Red Sun and Carnival Begin sound a bit like 'companion pieces' along the lines of Love Shines and Heart of Stone. I'm loving the other songs but it makes me yearn for more original, wholly Christine compositions.

I picture tonned arms being big, fat and heavy.

I was just thinking about how many delightful surprises we Christine fans have had since she "retired."

First, out of nowhere came her great solo album, In the Meantime.

Then, equally out of nowhere, she came out of retirement and rejoined the band for a wonderful live tour.

And now, we have a new album she has recorded with Lindsey, Mick, and John. The chemistry among the members of this team is obvious, and the album's going to be excellent.

I'm feeling very grateful for all these surprises!

What annoys me is how full of crap they're being about it being a duets album, like saying they recruited Mick and John because they're the best rhythm section in the world. No, it was always supposed to be a Fleetwood Mac album, which is why Mick and John are on it. Just be honest about it. Just say that it started as a Fleetwood Mac album, Stevie didn't want to participate, and that it morphed into something different. It's still crap, but at least it approaches the truth.
Agreed. I still don't understand why they just don't call it a Fleetwood Mac album. I mean, why not?

I believe(as someone else has suggested) that Stevie's name is now part of the brand. That Mick can no longer go out with a different lineup.

Just a thought...

As much as it comes across as BS by side stepping the Stevie issue, I still applaud them for doing so. They are in their 70's, radiant and happy. What would causing that kind of drama even accomplish. I think its pretty clear they would rather prefer to leave their legacy's behind while still retaining love and reapect between them all. I dont think Lindsey, Mick, John or Chris want to cause hard feelings.

I enjoyed this video and am instantly in love with Red Sun and Carnival Begins.

I have also enjoyed all the silly, ridiculous bickering between you fans in this thread. FM must get a real kick out of us when reading TL. And I know they read it.

If they are back to back losers that will be the worst thing since Running Through the Garden and Silver Girl ended up next to each other in bed.
These last 2 sentences were my BEST LOL moments in this entire thread.

You bring up a really great point. Goes well with someone's previous comment how that video is like happy destiny rules. We often complained in the past about them dragging out and exploiting stupid long done love story. They decided not to this time, no drama, just enjoying their work and basking in Chris coming back. That's really great and I'm sure liberating for them.

Thanks! I think it would be a huge loss to see some sort of big falling out that would cause the entire band to splinter during their twilight years. I hate saying crap like that, but it's true. They are not getting any younger.

I have to say I would never have thought after 40 years of having this band as the soundtrack of my life I would get new music in 2017 from this group. As disappointed that I am that Stevie isn't on this project .......Thank You Fleetwood Mac! The music sounds fresh with all the elements that made me follow you from the beginning.
