Thank you so much for getting The Ledge and The Penguin back up! Thank you so much for keeping it going all these years! And thank you so much for creating undoubtedly the best Fleetwood Mac website on the internet!

I was extremely upset when I heard the rumours that it had been permanently shut down. I've met some people here who are now some of my closest friends, and have made many, many, many other "cyber-buddies" aswell, all thanks to The Ledge. In fact, I feel that my enjoyment of the music of Fleetwood Mac wouldn't even be half as great as it is now if it wasn't for The Penguin/The Ledge (for too many reasons, I couldn't even begin to list!).

I may not come to this site or listen to as much Fleetwood Mac as I used to. However, and I hope you read these messages, I have always understood the relevance of your site in the scheme of other sites - both official and non-official.

In fact, with all the information and service you provide (FOR FREE!!), I think it a rather an understatement to refer to you 'site' as a 'site'. It's more of on-line library or community resource centre.

As someone who was angered by Fleetwood's decision to revoke your presentation appointement and equally disheartened with the outrageous fan club fees (for such little return) - there is one thing that comes shining through..and that's 'The Penguin'.

How amusing it will be to get a 'resubscribe to the fan club' email next year.

From now on, all the spare change in my payapl account will go to you Marty and Lisa for all the dedication and hard work you've done - AND for the new strategic goal of becoming the most up to date site there is.

I applaud you.

This is by far the best fan site on the net! If it shuts down I'm through with the band. FM was crazy not to make this their official site, but that's their loss. Thanks, Marty, for keeping on. I wouldn't have done it if I were you. After being dismissed out of hand, I would have lost all desire. I totally understand. I know it's not sour grapes, either. Afterall, you've spent your hard earned money and eons of precious time promoting a band that cares less about their fans than you do. The way they've allowed the official site and fan club to operate proves that point. They see fans as cash cows, but you are one of us. They've had years of free publicity and good will in the fan community thanks to you. You are one of us and I salute you. Fans who refuse to visit that joke called the official site still have a place to call home. Hooray! Thank you and Lisa, both!

I’ve been a visitor to The Penguin for a while now. I know a job well done when I see it, and your site is a perfect example. I cant imagine the time, and costs incurred by keeping a site like yours running, but it had to come from your heart. When I see people giving they’re all for a purpose they believe in it impresses the hell out of me, and I’m not easily impressed. “Many thanks to the benefactors, and great job Marty, Lisa, and Family.”……..Mark
