Agreed. When they claim her absence being 16 years, the math supports the dates given.

Oh the irony! I sort of remember that too. The band was like you are in or out. If you make the album then you must tour with us. I don't think Christine pushed the case.
Its funny to think of Stevie today. She is saying the opposite that she wants nothing to do with a new album but already signed up for the tour

Well Micks been playing at his restaurant ALOT the last few months. If they are in the studio you know he would have been there. I have a feeling NOTHING is going on and it's very sad that they are now an oldies act.

Because they've not had an album in 14 years?

At least Lindsey and Christine are TRYING to put something out. Unlike the dried up, prunish one.

Oh the bloody bitterness over somebody that does not want to work with the BS with others in the band in the studio. Do we have any legit proof out of her mouth that she does not want to work with FM on this project. And not the BS from MSM is dishing out. I know I dont want to go back to any previous jobs and put up with the same a****oles again.I already had another offer at one place last month and I said NOOOO.If we get the 5some album .That will be great. If we dont. Its time to move on.

Do we have to bring that crap into this board? I bet I'm not the only one who comes here specifically to NOT discuss American politics or read American political talking points.

Come on .No taking points here.Did I say anything about politics.NO. You just did .Maybe FM politics YES but not the other. They are just as bad with musicians, artists and other celebrities .Just look at the horible National Enquirer cover story on George Michael .Nevermind the others with their rubbish.

Yesterday they were filming Stevie's concert in Pittsburgh. So this means a new DVD and a new CD, that according to Stevie it won't sell because people don't buy records anymore.
So I'm thinking about the purpose of this new DVD/CD.

Or clearly there's another motive behind her decision to deny fans a new FM album.
I'm extremely dissapointed and her decision brought me closer to Lindsey and Christine.

looks like voters here were right - we predicted what the band will do!

View Poll Results: What should Fleetwood Mac do about Stevie Nicks since she refuses to record w/them?
  • They should kick her out of the band unless she agrees to participate in a new album. 16 17.98%
  • They should finish the album without her but let her tour with them. 17 19.10%
  • They should finish the album and do a small tour without her, but then do a big tour with her. 33 37.08%
  • They should replace her with someone else. 4 4.49%
  • They should just disband and end Fleetwood Mac. 4 4.49%
  • They should not record anything new and just tour with Stevie as Fleetwood Mac. 15 16.85%

(89 people voted all together; however, the album and the tour is not under FM moniker)

So glad it worked out!

Artists film shows all the time, and often don't put the effort into putting it out/doing post production. Hopefully you're right, but I wouldn't bet on it.

Was there someone "directing closeups"?

I think it'll just be a DVD or a TV special or something, I don't think there will be a live CD.

Actually, I forget, and now that I read your comment, I remember that a friend told me that it was filmed for a PBS airing.
