Patrick Leonard produced those songs, and Mick Fleetwood said he was very expensive! Leonard produced a lot of Madonna's stuff from True Blue and Like a Prayer.

Fannymac, I would love to hear more about this, maybe on the 'post rumours' board, since this is veering from the original thread. Any chance you could go into more detail there? For example, who is Scott Litt? And what song do you think would have been a better lead single?

yes. they (Fleetwood Mac and most of the individual members) are horrible at promotion. whether they hire incompetent staff, or Warners stifle them, or whatever the problem is.... besides their practically non-existent social media (other than Mick somewhat), all their other promotion-related activities are in pretty sad state.

if the album is supposed to come out on Warners, where is presale info? as mentioned in the other thread, artists releasing albums week after BuckMcVie already have their web pages up with pre-order and streaming links, so where is that for BuckVie?? probably will never even materialize.

of all the macsters, the only one that has ok promotional activities is Nicks solo. all the rest of them, including the band as a whole, are really really horrible, and i guess must not really care.

it's certainly frustrating for fans. for one, yes i'm happy that it's now obvious that the album will be coming out and that there will be a small [15 date?] tour, but i want the rest of those tour dates, asap!!

Most of "Time" was done by Richard Dashut. Kind of hard to argue his merit, other than it seems that he was thoroughly burned out during it.

I'm surprised they didn't ask Ken to do BTM.

When I asked him why he didn't do Tango, he said he couldn't take it anymore. The fighting was so bad.

Without Lindsey there, though, it seems like the tensions/fighting was mostly gone.

I read a Ken interview where he said he stopped working with them after Mirage just because he moved on, he didn't say it was really because of anything.

Fighting wasn't even really the problem with Tango anyways, it was that everyone was a mess.

I went to his book signing and asked him privately. He said that a certain member would constantly threaten to leave if he/she didn't get his/her way.

I'm sure there wasn't a lot of fighting on BTM, but I think he'd moved on in life and wanted to produce other projects.

Oh yeah I read he said once when he was talking about how Lindsey did that with Tusk that Stevie did the same thing later.

Richard I think it was I read he said he hated either BTM or Time, he said there was actually a lot of issues and he had a lot of conflict on it.

yeah Richard said he had a lot of issues with Dave Mason.

Oh yeah it was Time then, he wasn't even on BTM tho I wonder why. For some reason I don't think things were totally peachy then either, even if there was less fighting things are never easy with FM plus Stevie was knocked out on tranquilizers which probably made her interesting to work with.
