I saw the Mac in San Jose in July and this was so much better. They really have just seemed to have gotten better and more comfortable with the whole show.
I'm just going to post some highlights... Stevie dedicated "Landslide" to Jack Peterson. She said, "We spent some time together, somewhere you don't even want to know about, about 15 years ago; and he lives here, so this is for Jack." Then she kind of stood there and went back to the mic to say, "Think about that for a mintue." She did the whole "tapping" thing on his shoulders. She totally milked it after "well maybe". They did the hand grasp thing and Lindsey kissed her hand twice. At the end it was the usual forehead kiss. The "Say You Will" dance during the guitar solo was just priceless. I know that it's kind of old now, but they had just begun to do this when I saw them in San Jose. They got soooo close. I really thought they were going to kiss. At one point Lindsey just gave her this look and then licked his lips, leaning in, almost touching foreheads. Oh my god! So sexy! She just grinned from ear to ear and pointed her two index fingers together in his face as if to say, "no, now be good." "Gold Dust Woman" and "Rhiannon" both rocked! She just wailed on GDW...such passion. I loved how towards the end of "Rhiannon" she sang "silly, silly, silly dreamer." I had never heard her sing it that way before. "Silver Springs"! That was amazing. She got sooo intense! Her face was all red when she turned back around to look at the audience. Yes, she did say "still I am a fool". Well, more like shouted. Stevie tore up "Stand Back". I'm so glad that it seems like she's feeling better. I was a little worried before, but now she seems to be like her old self again. Even Lindsey was more active than before. He just seems soooo happy to be up there...so childlike. I loved, loved, loved his little dance before "Stand Back". It was amazing. He just went nuts tonight. Even my mom was impressed (she's always saying how she just loves Stevie more than Lindsey). "Come", as always, was brilliant. He seemed to go even more ballistic than when I saw them before. I really thought that he just might smash his guitar to the floor. HOT!!! Again, I know this might be old to some people, but the "Tusk" dance was soooo adorable. They were "sparring" so long that I thought maybe they weren't going to do the little dance. But alas, they embraced. I just love how he has one hand on her back and the other cradling her head. My mom says, "They're so lovey dovey." "Beautiful Child" and "Goodbye Baby" were breathtaking. I don't think I could ever get tired of hearing her sing those two songs live. I think the general audience feels the same way too. Of course that means that she'll have to make them staple songs in tours to com. The crowd in Omaha was awesome! They stood the whole time from what I could see. Sooo much Mac love, so little time. As I heard one girl say, "F*cking phenomenal!" Susie

Thanks for the review Susie!! It sounds like you had an excellent time!! Are you hitting up one of the California shows as well?? If so, have an AWESOME time!! Lindsey= sex personified. He gets that hungry look in his eyes and goes after her...it's a riot. They've been WAY more intense since Chicago...i'm glad we've been able to see it

Well, I already saw the San Jose show. I don't think I'll be seeing any more until they come back to tour the "sheds" next year.

Thanks for the review, Susie! Glad to see you all had a good time. Interesting observations. Good luck with that post-concert withdrawl, it's a killer.
