I always think the corset tops make you presume she must be huge to have to wear a corset. In fact, when you see her, she's tiny.
They give the false look of being bigger than she is.....ditch the corset and more (no some) colour.

I saw Stevie do a soundcheck in St. Pete back in 1996 in an everyday floral dress and she clearly had a large stomach bulge, etc. When she came out on stage that night in her Rhiannon outfit, she looked slim all over. It was then that I realized the power of spanx and corsets. At her age she's probably got a lot of stuff going on and this is how she chooses to handle it. It's also probably harder for her to do quick wardrobe changes between songs, so she stays in the basic black dress for the duration of the show. But in the end, she's beautiful no matter what she wears.

And can I just say WHOA to that photo of her in red with the black gloves and peep-toe boots? I don't remember seeing that before (long nets of white?) and it's gorgeous!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the corset tops and sweetheart necklines circa 2006. I think a structured corset with structured sleeves is a great look on her. It is the bunchy sleeves and loose, zip up corset-style look of today that I don't find very flattering.

In person she is incredibly stunning. IMHO the current uniform must not photograph well or something.

Sadly I think Stevie's Gothic Trunk of Beautiful Clothes has been permanently retired.
