This is such a great article, I agree that it's so cool to ready something that they did before Rumours was released. It makes me think, I wonder at what point they are in the recording of the album?? and "I wonder if they realize what is about to happen??"

I always find it interesting what they talked about in the interviews before Rumours.. when the questions weren't the same ones we've been hearing now for 89 years about breaking up.

I recall the fake FM story was one that Mick talked about often in interviews before the whole Rumours thing. That was the big sort of "band drama" story then. Or what happened to Peter Green. Or band members joining cults.

Lindsey talking about how great Mick and John are and their consistency during the Peter Green and Bob Welch years is amusing to me. The lad seems to have quite a sunny disposition.

I love Mick talking about how he and a guitarist had a "falling out over a lady". More diplomatic than saying "he slept with my wife!"
