Exclamation Remastered CDs & DVD-Audios Bumped To 2004

Just wanted to let everyone know that the expanded & remastered editions of 'Fleetwood Mac,' 'Rumours,' and 'Tusk,' as well as the DVD-Audios of 'Fleetwood Mac' and 'Tusk,' have all unfortunately been bumped to February 3rd, 2004.

Big thanks to Matt, from MusicTAP for the info.

Hmmmm... seems like it would have been smarter to get them out while the band is still actively touring.

Default Reissues?

Damn I hate it when that stuff happens. You get all psyched about it "almost" being here...then they push it back. That blows a fat one.

Unhappy

So much for the Christmas gifts idea!
What could possibly be holding it up this time?
I just hope that for the wait we have that we get some nice things.

My theory is that they're waiting until the band has a long break in the tour so the band (namely Mick & Lindsey) can be an active part of the process (of choosing/approving bonus tracks, ok-ing final mixes, etc)

Question

Good point ChiliD, that's probably what it is, although I gotta agree with kenzo in the sense of if Mick cares THAT much about money then you'd think he'd have twisted Lindsey's arm to get him to agree on his bonus track choices so these things could come out while there's still momentum (if any) left (= more $) but whatever, thanks for letting us know Johnny Stew so at least we know and can get used to the idea.

Default it's typical..

That's all I can say...

Let's not let Lindsey get too near it-it'll take another 5 years while he tinkers with it-

I bet it was moreso a decision to increase Say You Will's sales during the holiday season.

Why bog down the already saturated market with a set of rereleases when their first CD of new recordings since 1987 is still less than a year out of the gate? The fantastic Very Best Of is just now a year old, so I think it's wise to wait.

There are too many other good things coming out anyway.
