And I got the impression that she really wanted nothing to do with music.

I'll get this album for sure. I think they should still release it under the name Fleetwood Mac though. If Stevie Nicks doesn't want to be a part of it then that's her prerogative. With Fleetwood and two people with the surname McVie there - I think it more than qualifies.

Agreed, since Time was released as a Fleetwood Mac album and this is basically the same lineup with Lindsey replacing Billy, Bekka, and Dave.

Umm . . .

It's also basically the same lineup with Lindsey replacing various players that released Future Games, Bare Trees, Penguin, Mystery To Me, Heroes Are Hard To Find, and Behind The Mask. And, it is THE lineup, only minus one key player, that released Fleetwood Mac, Rumours, Tusk, Mirage, and Tango In The Night. And really, we could mention Mr. Wonderful, although Christine was only a session player. And, Say You Will was released as a Fleetwood Mac album and this is basically the same lineup with Christine replacing Stevie.

Yeah. Time is probably the biggest reach out of all of them.

No news- but I'd like to think no news is really good news; they are still busy working. I hope they are simultaneously adding finishing touches to the album, supervising cover designs/artwork, filming a couple of promo videos, rehearsing for a tour and overseeing logistics for said tour.

Am I the only one imagining them playing canasta and eating frozen yogurt?

What? As the backdrop to the video for the lead out single? Yeah- when Christine wins, Lindsey throws his cards across the room in anger. Christine then throws her frozen yogurt at him.

We probably won't hear much until the TITN deluxe edition comes out. If Christine and Mick do interviews to promote TITN deluxe like they did with Mirage, that's when they'll really start talking up the new album and hopefully will announce a release date soon thereafter.

Yeah, I'd be surprised if we heard anything from this before the Tango reissue, which is due 3/10. I'd expect a song (or two) to surface later next month.

How so? Time was perfectly in line with Fleetwood Mac's history.

Future Games: New members = Christine McVie and Bob Welch
Penguin: New members = Bob Weston said Dave Walker
Fleetwood Mac: New members = Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham
Behind the Mask: New members = Billy Burnette and Rick Vito
Time: New members = Bekka Bramlett and Dave Mason
