What ONE solo song should have had a video but didn't?

How should it have looked?

My pick would be Nightbird. Something dark and sensual, like the cover to the single. Stevie dancing at night under the moon in the woods to the do-do-do do-do-do's of the song. Cool.

Planets, Planets, Planets!!! Why did they NOT make a video for this song? I picture Stevie just kind of doing her thing on the beach for the first verse, then literally looking up at "skies on fire" and for the next line it zooms into the sky, then has an outerspace look like Sting's new video when it goes into outerspace. I picture Stevie kind of chilling on one of Saturn's rings or something, and the "man" is on Saturn or some close object, rotating around each other.

I mean, the Hawaiian scenery alone, combined with Stevie's own beauty, would make for a gorgeous video. A definite beach/ocean video.

i agree...i think they should have pushed this song a little more. It definately has more visual potential than "Everyday".

I think i need to go listen to it now...you know, it's kind of somber but there's something electric to it....especially the full non-album version. They should have included the full verision on the album instead of the edited version.

note to self: need to refer to "albums" as "cds"

This video was already made; they just put it with the wrong song: Edge of Seventeen.

Years ago I had a dream about Stevie where she was singing to me, wearing the silvery Talk to Me video studio beach scene outfit, suspended in space in what I can only compare to Lena Horne as a witch from the suck-O movie The Wiz. (How's that for memory? I saw it when it first came out and I still remember being bored out of my mind, & being distracted by the realization that the What's Happening mom could sing. ) She was singing what I would describe as an acoustic version of Mirror Mirror, but this was long before I'd heard that song. Planets would fit just as well. It was a nice dream, & I was angry to wake up.

And how do you picture it?
For me, this is one of the few songs (like Seven Wonders) where the video would still be cool even if she just stood at the mike lip-synching. (BTW, Stevie, you need a good song to get away with this. Sometimes It's a Bitch doesn't cut it. But you know that. )
