Default Stevie in Skies the Limit Video/BTM tour

Since ive seen two bootleg shows on the BTM tour i realized that the Skies the Limit video kicks ass for Stevie. She dances so much and brings out the WHITE dress. I LOVE the BEhind the Mask tour and even though she didn't move that much it was still a great tour.

The performances of rhiannon were anything but bland. She screams and yells at the end and it kicks lots of other tours asses. I like how on Stand Back she dances from one end of the stage to the other way past christines keyboard. Also i like her variety in tambourines on this tour lol! (she had at least 10 on micks drum kit)

Well id love to hear some more POSITIVE things about stevie on this tour.

Thanks

Jimmy

I saw this tour in Dallas, Texas and thought they were great. AND - Stevie opened that show in a mini mini skirt that stopped well above her shapely knees!!!!!!!! I know that was not a good period for Stevie, esp. sometimes her voice which I think she had not adjusted to its newer range, and, I think, John and Chris (who wanted to stop touring even then). But, the concert I saw was, while not the best I have ever seen of them, was good. AND - they reached back into the pre SN/LB stuff, which I thought was great!!!!!!

I saw them twice on this tour. The second time was in Albany, NY and I remember when that ugly behind the mask awning lifted and I saw Stevie was wearing that little skirt I couldn't believe it! She looked unbelievable! For a minute I wasn't sure it was her! Vocally I don't remember it being so bad. I don't think their audio was that great back then. It was so loud that it was hard to really hear anything clearly. I do remember she messed up Stand Back pretty badly. She kept missing the que to start and the intro just kept going on and on and on.

I was there too....how embarrassing about Stand Back. I didn't know what the hell was going on. I think she was at her mic but nothing was coming out. Then, when it came on, the band was already at the chorus yet stevie was singing "noone looked" then she would pause and then repeated it until the band got the hint and went back to the beginning.

I also remember her speech at the end of the show where she was talking about Greenpeace (or some other organization) and was like "we MUST do SOMETHING!" Stevie was gettin all political on our asses.

Well, I was there. The show was taped on the first night of a two night stand at Red Rocks. The first thing that struck me was how svelte Stevie looked. I had just seen her on TOSOTM tour and it was a total 360.
They asked us to stay round after the show and hang out as their audience while they reshot the closeups, etc. She and Billy had an impromtu jam session doing a song they made up called Don't Burn Down The Mountain. Stevie stood out onstage smoking and drinking from a plastic cup with a straw. She asked us not to tell anyone that she smoked. She stood on the stage the whole time talking to us and at one point there was a girl who kept yelling out Beautiful Child so Stevie sang the beginning of it. The place went wild.
The next night she began crying during the show. Rick Vito asked Christine "What's the matter with Stevie?" I think she might have been overtired and I don't know if the klonopin was affecting her. It was a great, great show or two shows, I should say.

Check out the Farewell tour shows from Florida I posted in the Post Rumours area. Stevie danced the entire shows. She ran all over the stage.

Thanks for the video! Stevie looked so good in white, stunning even. I love the scene where the 4 singers are together in silhouette.

I don't know too much more. There are shots from the entire show in the video for Skies The Limit. All of the filming was done on the first night. There's a shot of Christine leaving the Marriott in Golden. That must have been where they stayed. It was a fun couple of nights that's for sure.

The smoking certainly didn't make the Skies The Limit video. That happened after the show when they asked us to stay and film after the show.
